Wish I could say it was a good experience as I was anticipating it to be.
My wife and I booked here for a show for our Anniversary, and unexpectedly the performer canceled two weeks before the event.with no email no explanation at well.(However the performer refunded our full tickets) as well as we’re driving from Chicago, coming down for 1 night. Now pointless to come down. However, now trying to get any kind of refund from the camp site we are told no they are not affiliated with the caverns… lol you just happen to be right next to it and probably host every family that sees a show there. I get no cancellations however when your main event gets cancelled and you don’t even honor a little bit of a refund… disappointing won’t be recommending this place, or the venue to anyone. Read moreConvenient place to camp if you are attending a show at The Cavern. We were allowed to camp anywhere in the field and given advice on where to find the best shade. They sell ice and a few other conveniences at the entrance and have portapotties set up throughout.
Not a far walk to the Caverns, and the walking path was well maintained and lit up at night. Talking to some other people, there are some pretty significant differences between the pre-setup tents and the yurts.
