We had such a great time today taking a trip to Brown's Harvest for their annual Sunflower Fest! ( : I saw the suggestion to go from Facebook events and it sounded like a fun activity. So my husband and I headed there this afternoon! It is a fantastic family event and farm! There were quite a few vendors, sunflowers and pretty zinnias that were pickable. The blueberries were pretty much finished, but they had strawberries earlier in June that were pickable, so we will definitely be returning for their corn maze in September! ( : With our entrance fee today, kids could play on a jumping devuce, and several other fun looking toys and activities. There was also face pain ring there for the kids. We were tested to a wonderful tour of the origins of the farm, which used to be a tobacco farm making small leaf shade tobacco! It was fascinating eating and a really great historical experience! I did not expect this part of the day, so I was very happy to get to learn so much about the history of the farm and the Indians who once lived right where the farm was located! Then, we went out in the sunflower fields and picked three sunflowers each, as part of our admission fee, so I grabbed my favs from one of the sunflower patches (there were several to choose from). It was such a nice, fun activity and easy to get to and from 91 to the farm, which made it even nicer! ( :

Disappointed went there on a weekday with my grandkids and were walking around thinking all the activities were open when in fact they were not and a women in a orange shirt could have been alittle more pleasant telling us and my grandchildren they were in fact not open, so we then left I was turned off by her approach we went somewhere else to have fun.

I have to review Browns Harvest again after going back for a 2nd visit after the first one was disappointing. Well I just have to say we went back on 10/27 and it was amazing! All of us including my grandkids had a great time ! There were so many activities to do and all the employees were so friendly and helpful!!! I would also like to thank Alexandria for inviting us back . I would highly recommend Browns Harvest to anyone looking to bring kids or grandkids!!! We will be back for sure!!! Again thanks to everyone...

We recently went to the annual pig roast day with a friend that we always have cool adventures including food and drinks, so we got our tickets in advance. When we arrived the logistic of the event was pretty simple, the place has a small farm stand with pretty good quality products, on the event they have a "drinks truck" with many options, and the place and weather was perfect that day and live music.

Second time was the picking sunflowers day and was pretty nice, I plan the day with my wife as activity after lunch and we really enjoy it, they have small vendors, we got some bbq sauce and spices.

Both times I believe that we saw the family working there and all of them are pretty nice and friendly.

Check on social media the events, I do recommend this place 100%, the activities are for all...
