Super nice course and for your avergae golfer it’s challenging but not too hard. I enjoy how nice they keep their greens and their practice facilites. However my issue comes woth some of the staff snd hoe they treat their customers. Me and the same set kf my freinds have gone to this course at least five if not more times this year already, and they have all seemed very professional and had no issues with us up to this point. However, today before our tee time, One of the staffing members came up to one of my friends and asked him to change out of his boots into tennis shoes. This wouldn’t be a problem if he asked nicely and didn’t come standoffish. But when he asked, he seemed like he was higher than all of us and that we were trying to damage the greens on purpose. He said that they have the most up greens in all of Colorado. They hold their club to the highest standard in Colorado. This is fine and I don’t have a problem with it, but then he went on Starting to talk down to other golf facilities and courses around saying that they weren’t as good and that they had the best course Therefore, we needed a treat it perfectly. My friend went to apologize for wearing boots as he has wore boots the other five or six times we have been here and had No problems, but the guy wouldn’t get off his high horse and even try to sell him a pair of tennis shoes that they have in the clubhouse. Overall, a really good course, but the staff needs to treat their customers a little nicer and with more respect as we are paying them a decent amount of money to Play at...
Read moreWe really enjoy this golf course but we were really disappointed with the golf marshal (older woman). We had a 5:40 tee time for 9 holes and from hole one she was telling us we needed to hurry or we weren’t going to make it in by 7:45. Sunset was not until 8:20 and we were the only group on the course at the time. She stated that “cloud coverage” was the reason we needed to skip to the last hole to be done. She continually came to us after each hole saying she was going to take us to the last, that we aren’t going to make it and that we were required to go to hole 9 to finish. She was not cordial and the interaction felt more like harassment. This made for a very disappointing experience for the cost of playing here. For example we played the same time the week prior, it rained for the last 20 minutes and not once were we harassed to finish up and go. We felt very rushed for having plenty of sunlight. She would sit and watch us on multiple holes and after we would get back to cart path she would then direct us like an air traffic controller. We played very rushed, if we missed puts would just pick up and go so that we got to play the holes we liked. The employee in the clubhouse afterwards stated she’s had multiple complaints prior and we had until sundown to play and apologized for the interaction. He was very polite and expressed his frustration with the situation. Although they stated the complaint would be reported again, there was no attempt to make things right for the...
Read morePositive thoughts we would share: Beautiful course overall. Friendly staff. Great cart service throughout the round. Facility and practice areas were very nice. Frustrations and things they could improve on: The carts were the most sensitive we have ever seen! You barely go off the unknown proper path and the carts shut down and make you reverse out. This happened to us probably 10 times, super irritating! It would be great to allow a little more flexibility. PIN PLACEMENTS WERE SET FOR A PGA CHAMPIONSHIP EVENT ON A THURSDAY AFTERNOON. MULTIPLE HOLES HAD THE PIN TUCKED FOUR TO FIVE PACES FROM THE EDGE. This is a public course that should be set up to be more enjoyable for the average golfer. The greens have enough challenges they way they are which is fine but the stupid pin placements make it unreasonable!!!! Overall: Nice course. Many other courses on the Front Range are a better overall value and more fun/relaxing experience for the average golfer in our opinion. We all felt is should be an $80 course, NOT $108 with a small bucket of balls. Add beverages, snacks, tips and you quickly surpass $150+! It was pretty clear why there were so many tee times available on such a...
