I rented (M3910×10) July 10th 2018 @$48 per Week. I took the spot but I knew I needed More SPACE. I pd weekly for two months on an empty booth ONLY to find out Tanika, Nikki, or Daniel were renting to other PEOPLE making Double per wk off the booth I was paying on at the same time. They finally offered me a larger booth. They did the same Deb sale again. I met the vendors that rented my booths; They had promised to them after I had paid! (D10/half of 11) beside the pet shop @$78 per wk in SEPTEMBER 2018. I pd WEEKLY till October my inventory arrived. I built the insides out in quality shelving Granite Show cases with lighting. Things weren't good that winter. For the Flea or for Business. So I stayed till April 2nd week. (I owed $233) n Rent PAID IN FULL WITH a CASHIERS CHECK. TANIKA HAD OFFERED ME TO STAY 2Wks earlier; but WANTED ME TO SIGN A 6WK CONTRACT FOR $158 per Week for the same 12×18ft SPACE. NOTHING ADDED NO MORE ELECTRIC, THOUGH IT WAS PROMISED. (I SAID NO) I'LL MOVE. I Was moving my belongings out & THE STAFF TANIKA, NIKKI, & ADAM Harrassed My helpers & Me for 3hours. I CALLED THE POLICE as A chaperone, they lied said I had to be out by 12pm. Officer read contract, It said by 5pm. He told them to LEAVE US ALONE. WE HAD MOVED EVERYTHING & WAS PUSHING SHOWCASES OUT @ 4:40. ONE HIT BUMP ON FLOOR @ DRWY FLIPPED & BROKE. THE OTHER TWO WERE INSIDE & WE COULDN'T GET PAST. THE OFFICERS TOLD THEM TO LET ME GET THEM OUT ONCE THE GLASS WAS CLEARED UP, SHE REFUSED AND DEMANDED I LEAVE THE PREMISES IN ORDER TO KEEP MU SHOW CASES @ $300 EA. I LEARNED SHE SOLD THEM TO VENDOR CALLED THE PILLOW LADY NAMED FUNDERBURKE WHO LIVED ON GREENWAY AVE. THIS WOMAN TRIED TO BUY BELONGING FROM MY HELPER BEHIND MY BACK WITHOUT ASKING ME AND I WAS PRESENT. (TRIFLING THIEVES & THEY WILL GO IN YOUR BOOTHS & STEAL YOUR MERCHANDISE AS WELL.) I REPORTED THEFTS TWICE &...

Been coming to Cooks since I was a child. 30+ years. It's evolved a long the way, not for worst but not for the better either. I'm not even angry about the parking fee, i understand why, dont care for it but it is was it is. Never once have I had an issue with a vendor until yesterday. I'm posting this here because they aren't listed in the directory for me to post there. One of YOUR vendors decided it was okay to yell and talk down to my child in a belittling manner. Unacceptable behavior!! It was the lady who sells the rocks and copper jewelry on the newer side, her husband is the booth right next door who sells smoking pipes and Indian head dresses. I've made purchases from both of them in the past and they have always been very kind and polite. But don't let your kid pick up a cheap .50 cent rock or she will freak out. Due to her behavior we will not be returning to cooks flea market ever again. She single handedly lost our business for every vendor in the entire place. I understand that kids like to touch and I understand a vendor not liking it because something might get damaged. I would've paid double had something been damaged just for their trouble because that how i am with small business like that try to earn a buck. This woman could've approached the situation with tact instead of flying off the handle and acting like a explicit!! Luckily my wife didn't go full on tornado in her booth for talking to us and our child like that. Talk to your vendor and straighten it out. I expect an apology right here where everyone can see it if you ever want me to spend a dime in you...

I have not been here in about twelve months. I was certainly not prepared for the updated parking system/configuration.

I attempted to pull in from the north to park and realized that they had reconfigured a previous entry/exit point to make it strictly an exit. What a mess with poor signage indicating that. I proceeded to the updated entrance (which I saw via signage). As you drive in, up a hill, you see gates with arms and a sign indicating a parking fee. There is no way to turn around at this point to avoid paying the fee so be prepared for that. The fee is only one dollar but it’s interesting that I didn’t see signs prior driving into the long one way entry and thus being committed to park. I also do not carry cash (the vendors I bought stuff from in the past accepted cards) so I was a bit panicked not knowing if they took cards but luckily I saw signs that advised they did.

Once inside I didn’t see any of the four vendors that I had purchased from in the past, but it had been a couple of years so I understand. Inside I saw a good amount of customers walking around looking at a mix of new and used items like household goods, furniture, appliances, clothing/shoes, tools, auto parts, toys and food/drinks (to take home and eat onsite).

Upon exit there were several vehicles at the paid exit gate which created a bit of a back up. The staff seemed to work at a good speed but it took several minutes. I tried to pay with card and they just smiled and told...

Oh wow! I love this place! I've driven by here a hundred times and always been curious about it and finally stopped to check it out. What a fun flea market! You can get pretty much anything you want here. There are a lot of food and snacks vendors there and even a place that makes their ice cream right on location. Just a heads up, done of the vendors can be really assertive like the kiosks at the mall so if you don't like that, you'll have to put on your blinders. Overall it was a great experience and almost like walking into another country. I'll definitely go back and next time bring friends. My favorite stall had a lot of pottery in it and sold fresh vegetables. The guy was nice. I found some little pottery beads (four for a dollar) that I loved and ended up buying. He also has embroidered Frida Kahlo face masks, beautiful pottery, keychains etc. His stall didn't have a name that I recall, but I'll definitely be going back to him. There was another stall that I really liked called Arts Arcanum. It had incense and crystals and things like that. They had my favorite brand of incense (HEM) and they were really nice and helpful.

I visited this location, just in time before it closed today. Although, most vendors were breaking down their areas, or closing a bit early, iseemed to have made the best of of today's short visit. This flea market has done a very good job with remodeling and fixing the section of the flea market that was affected and damaged by a fire that happened a little while ago. In that area, it looks much cleaner, and I especially liked the floor designs. This flea market in general, has something to offer for everyone. I find rare one of a kind items here, and the variety that the vendor's offer, gives me enough reason to keep coming back to buy things.
