With a free splash pad area, playground, and shaded area, this place was a hidden gem for my 2-year-old! Coming here for a birthday party, we were pleased by this public area that offered a way to cool down for the summer, be outside, and socialize in an affordable way with other friends. My daughter enjoyed playing in the water, resting to eat treats, and running around the playground afterward when she could dry off and warm up a little. The playground has a spongy mat that I appreciated, considering a trip and fall would be especially devastating otherwise. I'm glad this was thought through!

My kids had a great time here at Hathaway 🏞️ Park. Love the shelter nearby. Needs more water and regular maintenance to make sure each element works. Great for smaller kids up to age 6 or 8. The playground itself has great climbing apparatus, multiple slides, and looks like a castle. Because of the splash pad the mulch and structure can become wet and slippery in summer. There is also ♿ handicap accessible parking nearby.

Cute spot for the family...There's 2 grills and a nice shaded picnic area that can be reserved. My son loved the sprinklers and play area..its clean, safe and there's a basketball court...I would recommend it for a nice family cookout or if you just want to take the kids to play in the water for free...

Good variety of water features. Good play ground structure. It's very nice that the splash pad and play ground are close together and the kids can go from one to the other with ease. There is a shelter with picnic tables to sit at in the shade. The play structure is getting a little rough and could use some maintenance. There are lots of rusty parts that could use some touch up paint. There is a dirt ring around the splash pad that is essentially small rocks and mud. Whoever thought it was a good idea to have a dirt ring around a splash pad probably has never been to a splash pad before. There were lots of rocks and gravel in the play structure area on top of the soft rubber safety pad, again not a good combination. Overall it was alright but it certainly could use some maintenance. Will probably go back in the future but only because of a lack of...

Splash pad water made the kids smell really horrible after less than and hour of play. One showered that same morning before playing there. The other the night before. So they were clean prior to play. The smell was so bad I worried they'd get sick. It's over 24 hour later and all they complained of was their skin ithing. My daughter had some bug bites from days before that swelled really bad that night even after we showered with soap with tea tree oil in it. Had to use antibiotic and cortizone creams. But thats not terrible. I was more worried they would get very sick. We made some smoothies that night with some cleansing foods as well to help flush out what ever disgusting stuff that they may have swallowed. We went last year and it was...

At first it seems cool that the playground is so close to the splash pad that the kids can basically make water slides with buckets of water or just from their wet clothes, but kids were slipping around on the playground equipment and the tall twisty slide was danagerous. Manay times the kids got into "pule ups" at the bottom of the slide because when its wet it shoots the kids down super fast. Multiple times children, especially small ones, got hurt. When I went I couldnt figure out where the ladies restroom was but found out it was closed. The splash pad itself was also underwhelming. Will...
