The winery was closed so had to go to the brewery. Someone told me that the wines here are sweet, but I saw wine slushies on a 90 degree day and had to try them. Peach šŸ‘ slushie had expected sweetness but the raspberry slushie was really sweet - almost too sweet. The website says they have charcuterie and the website pictures are deceiving. Charcuterie is really packed meat, cheese, chips, crackers and pretzels. They serve the packaged items on a cutting board with a knife so you can injure yourself while drinking 🤣. Crowd was varied but nice. People were having a good time playing card games and connect 4. I'm used to wineries and breweries in RI that offer much better food to go with beverages. I'd come back and try a wine flight. Hopefully the winery will be open next time.

My favorite winery! I’ve been coming here for about 3 years now. Their dessert wines are to die for, especially the chocolate essence and traminette. Give the wine dog a try too (a portion goes to a local dog rescue). I love coming in the winter time and enjoying a glass of wine in front of the warm wood stove. Pack your favorite snacks and enjoy an afternoon at Taylor Brooke! Since opening the brewery down below, they have gotten busier. Last time I went the line was super long and took a bit, but worthwhile in the end. There were a lot of open tables, but they said they were all reserved even though the website clearly states ā€œno reservationsā€... no one sat at these empty tables for the 2 hours we were there so that was disappointing.

9.23.23 This place has lots of parking and there is a winery and next door, you can walk down or drive down, is their brewery. The brewery serves their wine. Or you can visit the winery, buy a bottle, then head over to the brewery. The winery has a tasting room and some indoor and outdoor seating. We prefer outdoor seating in the brewery area because there's more of it. We enjoyed a couple of their reds, but everyone has different tastes, so try a few. Staff is very friendly at the winery. Both places have different events, from live music to various vendors. This is a great place for date nights, small group events, and bigger functions.

We recently spent a Sunday afternoon at Taylor Brooke and we both agree it is one of the best wineries in CT. The staff couldn’t be friendlier and they truly make you feel welcomed. Their prices for wine tasting are very reasonable and, hands-down, the best value compared to others in the state. You can choose 2 wines to taste complimentary, 8 wines for $5.50 or all 12 for $8.50 (if you want to buy the glass, it costs an additional $3.00). They offer more white wines than red but all are amazing, including the dessert wines (Chocolate Essence, which is a port, is incredible). They encourage you to bring snacks or a picnic lunch so we bought a bottle of Woodstock Hill White to enjoy there with our picnic and a bottle of Wine Dog to take home. Our host was extremely educated and informative about all the wines we sampled. She was even kind enough to give us two glasses to take outside with our bottle of wine (we returned them upon leaving since we did not wish to purchase). There are two separate seating areas, one has tables under a pergola in front of the winery and the other is in a more shaded enclosed area to the side of the building, including additional picnic tables randomly placed in the vineyard. They invite you to take a self-guided tour around the vineyard and check out the different types of grapes they use. We enjoyed our visit so much, we will definitely return with family and friends to this beautiful, quiet part...

My friend and I had an incredibly good time here. We chose to do a wine tasting of all the wines and the staff was very, very knowledgable. The place was beautiful and there was a lovely seating area, where we had a glass of wine and ate some cheese, crackers, salad and cookies, that we had brought ourselves. We spent a good 2 hours here with the tasting and chatting it up with our snacks and wine. The only reason I can not give this a 5 star rating is because when we left, I purchased 2 bottles of wine, a wine glass and a bottle of balsamic vinegar (I had planned on giving the vinegar to a friend as a gift). The woman packaged the wines perfectly, and I wish she packaged the wine glass and vinegar in a similar manner!! She put them in a paper bag (without handles, that does not "stand up" and without paper protecting the glass items. There was only very minimal tissue paper on the wine glass. Where as the bottled wines were packaged in a Stand up kind of bag with handles and had a cardboard between the bottles). When I got home I gently placed the bag on my counter top and the balsamic vinegar broke (UGH, SO DISAPPOINTED). Had these items been packaged in a similar bag and method as the wines, they would not have broken!!! So, although I'm out the $10-11 it cost for this item, I'm also out on a special gift that was meant for a friend. So, just be sure they package your bought...

My boyfriend and I went yesterday for a relaxing afternoon, he had been to the new brewery down the hill but I had never been to either the winery or brewery, this was my first visit. Easy to find open location, plenty of parking...clean and inviting! We were immediately greeted by three smiling staff members as we entered and welcomed to the winery, Alex did our tasting and he was funny, warm, and extremely knowledgeable but in a way that I could connect with as this was my first wine tasting. We did the ā€œAdopt a Vineā€ and that was such a sweet keepsake from our date, as well as a treat to look forward to the wine we will receive in the package. Everything was delicious and we left with a case of different wines for home. He walked us out to our vine and left us with a big thank you and smile. We then went down to the beautiful brewery, we were greeted and there was plenty of seating, I had the warm cider with brandy and my bf chose a flight. We also tried their three wines they offer. All staff was friendly, facility was clean and inviting and the outside relaxing. I can’t wait to come back! Thanks for a...
