I have been here a half dozen times in the past several years, arriving by paddle board from Marina Beach Park in Edmonds. It takes 30-45 minutes paddling, depending on wind and tides. Pay attention to the wind forecast in particular, because paddling back through an afternoon north wind can be tough. The main beach area is to the south, right next to the old Point Wells oil refinery. It is a nude beach frequented mostly by men. Walking through with my wife, most people are friendly and it felt safe, though some guys are clearly there for public hookups. A little further north there are some stretches of beach where we could relax as a couple without intrusion or textiles. At high tide the beach gets narrow, and I don’t think you could get there without a paddle board or kayak, short of trespassing on the train tracks. That goes for the main beach, and even more so for the areas to the north that I prefer.

Nude beach. Park at Edmonds Marina and hike 2.4 miles along the beach at 0 ft or less tide. If you get stuck because of the tide, your best bet is walking along the gravel path next to the train tracks if you want to stay dry. Theres nice hidden away spots, both man made forts and natural shade, for spicy ❤️‍🔥 🍃💨 activities if you're into that. Great view. Lot of geese lol.

Love this place. Been over night camping a couple times. Have had sooo much fun. The place has a neat setting and beautiful view for sunset. Also beautiful views as it's a nude beach location. 😋😊😉

Jay Bjorn… it’s not a sewage plant …

It’s an oil storage and distribution terminal. For over a century, Point Wells operated as an industrial site with a large pier, rail lines, and numerous oil and asphalt tanks. The site served as a terminal for distributing petroleum products to the region and a key source for the fuel needed for cruise ships on...
