Deer Creek Park — Attraction in Woodway

I’m giving this four stars, not because it’s not beautiful, but because it’s small and moderately difficult unless you’re fit. It’s mostly hills and stairs, but the trail is very well-maintained. Excellent place to go for a good glute workout! There’s a meadow with a picnic area and also a small fitness area once you reach the top. The parking lot looked like it would hold...

Opened in 2016, Deer Creek Park is the newest (most recent) park to open in Woodway. The park's initial phase of 'development' includes a trail adjacent to the Deer Creek Park watershed. A trail that climbs to the meadow and a picnic area will be in future enhancements. (Pending available funds.)

This is a nice neighborhood park, but not really a place to drive to because it is really small. Although, regardless of the fact that this place is small, it’s really nice that it is completely wooded and gives you the sense that you’re out in the mountains someplace.
