William A. Rice Recreation Area — Attraction in Wrentham

We are in Wrentham for a short time in summer. We had some extra time before an appointment so came here for a walk. It’s beautiful! There is loads of parking, well maintained bathrooms and mowed trails. There is a shaded shelter to sit under, a wonderful playground, basketball and pickleball courts, and grassy sports fields. We walked the peaceful mowed trails through wildflowers and butterflies. It was very quiet and enjoyable and there are lots of plants to stop and look at.

The field was great to launch homemade rockets from. While there, I also noticed that there were many soccer fields and a new playground.
