PSPA offers the perfect blend of fun and professionalism for students interested in the performing arts. They offer a great variety of classes in different dance styles, as well as singing and acting classes. The instructors have top notch qualifications which provide students with a rare opportunity to learn from professionals who are/have been on Broadway, in films, and/or in well-known dance companies and crews. The Director and her staff are warm, dedicated, and welcoming. They really take the time to keep you well-informed and make you feel like a valued member of their community. The end of the year productions are truly a first rate experience for dancers and their families. We tried several dance studios before finding PSPA, where my daughter was finally able to experience a perfect combination of fun, challenge, and growth by leaps and bounds. Since I'm writing this in the time of COVID, I'd be remiss if I didn't acknowledge that the school's response to the pandemic has been extremely comprehensive, safe, and inclusive. They've spared no expense upgrading their equipment and procedures to make sure students are safe but still continue to receive the same high-quality instruction, all while facing a significant challenge of trying to maintain a small business during a very trying time. Read moreHorrible. Misleading Owner would intimidate my daughter at every turn to and get her to take more classes. Signed up for ballet and ended up doing hip hop instread because the teacher would call out all the time. If your not on the team no attention is given to a child there to get more technique. Closes the whole month of December and charges you anyway. And when you tell her you want to quit she demands you still pay. - and she never outlined this in her crazy online system. My opinion is if a dance company wants you to pay even after you quit it's because they have a lot of students quitting. (I'm speaking about kids not in the company)
Save your money and go to schools worth the time like Rock School, the ballet institute, dance elite.
Owner is very hard to reach. Even if you wanted to quit you can't reach her and when you do all she does reply to your questions with this famous person is here, that famous person is teaching this class. Bunch of bull.
Wish I would have listen to my friends and saved my...
Read moreWe couldn't be more happy that not only is PSPA able to open to our dancers, yet provide top of the line instruction in such a safe way. These days are challenging being home, riding the wave of the pandemic that still exists. We as a family feel comfortable with the measures in place keeping our staff and students safe in a time where being careful is still so very important. Where there is a will theres a way! We firmly believe that. PSPA has found the way coupled with the strong will of making dance and the arts available to our children and knowing how valuable this is. Now more than ever these outlets are crucial especially to our children and I'm happy to see the joy these classes bring to my daughter. She continues to follow a virtual program for school, dance right now is an outlet, a place to express herself through the artistic direction of her teachers and a place to BE herself. Thank you to all who have made this...
