So, this trail is 600 god d*mn miles long... we ran out of gas right around the chilao campgrounds... the rangers at the visitors center were very nice and let us use their land line, you know, since there is no reception for 300+ of the 600 mile trail... also, once you enter the angeles forest state park, there isnt a single gas station... at any rate, the tow company came about an hour an 20 minutes later and brought us 20$ worth of gas... it cost me $500, for someone to bring me 20$ worth of gas... this is why i give it 3 stars... very deceptive for tourists who think they are taking a leisurely drive through the woods... turned into the ride to hell... would still do it again, but this time with a full tank of gas... great sights, awesome road to drive if you like to drive... 46 miles of switchback s curves thru the...
