This is my second time visiting the Pinehaven Farm. I will say that the activities and options available to kids/families is very impressive indeed! Second to none, in fact! The kid favorites were the apple shooters, ropes course, and zip line.
However, this time we had a slightly different experience. We chose to go a little bit later in the day on a Sunday and found that there was no fill up station for our water bottles throughout the entire park, forcing us to purchase bottles of water instead. This seems very strange since there are so many exercise-type activities for the children throughout the park. The portable toilets were extremely stinky, unclean, and several were full to the top with flies circulating inside as well, which was really gross. It is only their second weekend open of the season, and they are only open on SAT/SUN, so wasn't expecting that. We also think that their closing time should actually read 6pm instead of 7pm, because we were going to get food as our last stop and several of the food/beverage trucks were either closed or they were out of most things. The burger/grilled cheese place shut their grill off at 6pm. The beer tent was closed at or before 6pm. And the taco truck was out of everything except for one item. We ordered whatever we could anyway, since it is quite the drive to get there from the city. This was a huge let down as we were going off of what the website said for hours. Not the best way to end an otherwise fun afternoon of activities with the kids. Just wanted to help others thinking of going to Pinehaven. For many reasons, go...

We did have fun, mostly in a tiny corner of the corn pit, and climbing dinosaurs to take pictures! Most of the play areas were completely overrun with much bigger kids, 8-14yo's midday on a Friday. They deserve to play too, but there are no areas restricted for little kids only, and no supervision at all, so we might have gotten 5 minutes all together on activities that were perfect for my 2 and 3yo kids to climb and explore, but were too dangerous with lots of big kids running and jumping. While I was happy those kids were having a great time, we won't be back until our kids are 8 or 9 years old. We pretty much just walked around and took pictures at all the scenes they had set up, and claimed a corner of the corn pit. I have one child allergic to a few common things, and we never expect safe food anywhere so we bring our own. There was no safe food for him, fine, c'est la vie, but just FYI for anyone else with allergies. There is a lot to do here, I just think it's better suited for families with much older kids to get value out of paying $20 for entry for...
