THIS PLACE SUCKS! Has completely gone down hill and when asked for a resolution or refund they basically said sorry that sucks I’ll pass it along. We paid for vip and then got put at the back of the hayride so no actors touched us scared us or interacted with us. Then we get to the haunted house part again mind you vip $110 and then got placed at the back again and sent in with 14 other people (not an exaggeration) the line greeters were counting out loud and very out of character. We received no scares since we were constantly on top of people but just wait it gets better then the next group was sent way to fast of another 15-20 and were right on our butts and we couldn’t go any faster. The actors also only Focus on the people who “act” or are “really” scared. One clown looking actor spent literally 1/4 of the haunted attractions with one group. A actor could tell something was wrong and asked what’s wrong and when we said disappointed he then separated our group and shoved us alone (maybe the only part that each of us were not constantly on someone’s ass) I appreciate what he was trying To do but then the actors inside made it worse by going “oh they don’t want to talk” not even trying to scare or make it a scary experience for a single part that could have had the opportunity to be scary. Then when all said and done we went out went to find someone to ask for guest services in kind tone the lady goes why what’s wrong and I just said we are inquiring about a refund due to disappointment and then the lady kept going “really” “really” “I’ve never heard disappointing or anything like that” well lady (not sure of name) maybe you should read some of these other reviews I should have listen to them before spending $110 but thought there’s no way those are true as last year was AMAZING but I was wrong and the disappointment truly got to me. Do better dead end multiple other haunted attractions give refunds or ask what they can do to cause a resolution per seeing owners respond on other reviews when looking where to go. If you plan on coming here vip is not worth it you will just be shoved with a million other groups no...
Read moreI have a comment about the experience this year. We have been enjoying this hayride and event for the past 10 years and never once had a complaint.
This year was different. We noticed how many young children there were for one and only after we entered realized you added a feature for the kids. Which obviously is more money for you guys. But we missed the actors being around before we actually got on the hayride. It was fun and awesome for the whole night to be an experince rather than just the hayride and walking tour. Its fun not knowing if some creeper was just gonna pop up while eating your treat or watching them scare other people. Someone had told me it was not as good this year, but I didn't beileive it. Now I know why, the whole experience was diminished and diluted, for the need of trying to cater to everyone instead of sticking to your strengths.
The final thing, and please take this seriously, even if you dismiss every thing else.
Please remember there are different sized adults. The hayride itself was really unpleasantly uncomfortable this year, because your staff decided it was necessary to cram 6 adults on one row of bales. We have, as i said been going for 10 years and never have had this experience. Please stick to 5 adults per row, as you have in the past. Please. We couldn't even enjoy the ride due to massive discomfort and pain. There is just no reason to cram us in like that, there wasn't even room for the actors to move around in-between people as normal. Please for the sake of all the averaged sized adults out there, reconsider this change and go back to 5 per row, not 6. Please do it now before the end of the season so you don't loose more customers. 5 adults per row on the hayride...
Read moreThe rudest, most unprofessional, and least helpful customer service I have ever experienced. Dead End cancelled the night we were supposed to go due to weather and safety, which is understandable. It was an unfortunate situation outside of both of our control. We got our tickets through a third party, so we were not automatically issued a refund. I reached out to Dead End and was told that we could go "any night any time," which only meant the current season in their follow up email (another night didn't work for us while they were still open), or I could, "gift [my tickets] to someone." After offering me those two (but according to Dead End, "numerous") solutions, they told me to try bringing the tickets and receipt back to the third party we purchased the tickets from, as they were not able to issue us the refund, and that, "just because you did not agree with a business's statement doesn't mean it was inappropriate in any way." I've heard great things and am disappointed we couldn't make it, but their apathy toward our situation was shocking, and their willingness to let us eat the cost of the tickets due to their cancellation was repugnant.
To your reply: We were able to sort it out with Costco, thanks! They were awesome :-)
However, your original email said we could come any time, any night. When we let you know that didn't work with our schedule, your other solution was to gift them to someone else. You never said anything about selling them (so... two solutions at that point). It was after that correspondence that I wrote a lengthy email back, and your reply was to try with Costco (now three solutions, the third one...
