This was a very unique trip and I’m so glad I went. I’ll make this review simple with pros and cons.

Pros: Very unique, there’s not really a sense of direction so you can go climb anywhere (at your own risk), very cheap / free depending on if you’re camping or just hiking / camping; they had restrooms that were easily found, and lastly the views and overall area was just so nice and well kept. Great place for those who want to throw an event, camp, or even just climb!

Cons: Figuring out where to go or park was very confusing, the place is very popular so camping spots are kind of hard to get, the one section is all dirt road and not meant for sedans or low to the ground cars, there wasn’t really any markers or trails so getting lost is quite common, lastly it genuinely is dangerous so please be careful when climbing (I myself fell but I’m okay)

Overall: 3.95/5.00,...

Had NO idea what to expect because the Wiki page & other Internet resources could not adequately prepare me for what was in store. Had to take it slow and easy because the 9000 ft altitude is 10x higher than home but going slow allowed us to see the magnificent sites. Who knew that a "big pile of rocks" could be so fascinating and weird? Trees grow in the middle of rocks, cracks facilitate lots of rock climbing, and the rest of us can speculate on the nature of the landscape in wonderous awe. Did not see any wildlife during the daytime but scat & footprints demonstrate they live there! The parking lots were filling up by 9 am but we didn't mind the walk. Restrooms were still closed in mid May. Picnic tables offered lots of opportunity for...

I've scrambled up these rocks ever since I was big enough to wear a backpack. Vedauwoo is full of memories for me. Scrambling steep faces with my family, climbing up the big ol Pancake Rock (don't think it has a real name), camping there on multiple occasions. It's gorgeous land! Whether you strap into a harness and go straight up, or want to monkey around jumping from boulder to boulder, or just want to kick your feet up next to a classic campfire and cook some hotdogs, Vedauwoo is for you. Also, all the people who say that the place is crowded probably aren't walking too far from the road. I mean, it's Wyoming......

🤠 If you’re nearby or passing #Wyoming via I-80, be sure to stop at this gorgeous public park! There’s also a small campground for a small fee. There are other climbing areas nearby too, it’s a BiG space. I recommend wearing pants and long sleeves for the rocks. It’s dog-friendly and you’re free to hike & climb— just be careful! #latinostiktok #getoutside #Outdoors #dogsoftiktok #climbingtiktok #bouldering #western #roadtrip

This a a great place about 20 miles outside of Laramie to get outdoors and enjoy some wonderful Wyoming scenery and climate. It is a great area for a picnic, a car tour, a day hike, rock climb or some overnight camping. In the weekends it can get a bit crowded but on the weekdays it is an absolute paradise While you are in the Veedauwoo area, it is worth a brief drive across the highway to visit the Ales Monument
