The Origin of Freedom, is a general term used to describe many of the sculptures within the park. However, some have suggested that one of the largest sculptures here is intended to be a West Coast counterpart to the Statue of Liberty, with its origins linked to the humanitarian ideals of freedom and cultural diversity attributed to Cyrus the Great.
