Parking is on the side of the road in the dirt. There is a lip off the road so please be careful not to get your car stuck. The entrance is near the telephone pole.

This is a STEEP hike. Wear shoes with grip and gloves for the limestone. There are guideropes for going up and down the rock. Once you're down in the cave area it's a narrow squeeze inside but you don't have to go underwater.

After the cave if you keep going to the arch you must cross a narrow path of rock where slipping will cause you to fall into the ocean and likely die. I'm not kidding. Don't do this drunk or high. It is easy enough for children to do but understand the gravity of it. You don't need to cross to see the arch but being on the final rock is how you see out into the ocean and the expanse of island.

Hike out back the way you came in, being mindful of the ancient village you'll be walking through. Getting back up is moderately hard. You will need to climb with hands and feet or use the rope. It is long and hard so remember that retuning will take much longer than coming in so ration your water accordingly.

Otherwise, beautiful hike and great views. It is definitely a...

NOT FOR BEGINNERS OR PEOPLE OUT OF SHAPE

The entire way to the cave is downhill and can be very slippery on rocks if it rained recently. We got to the cave but did not bring a flashlight so we opted to stop and turn around. On our way back, I got lost and somehow went on a trail that puts you in a loop. I have no idea why it had markings. It was orange tape. Be very careful and make sure you go with a group and don’t lose eye sight of each other. The way back is entirely uphill, with climbing required. This is not for people out of shape. You need to take breaks every 5 minutes. The heat...

Awesome hike!! Start early as the temperatures are cooler and there are less people. We started our hike at 0830 and we're the first ones on site. This has a slight drawback for there were many spiders/webs to clear out during the first mile. The payoff was that we had about 20 minutes of the cave completely to ourselves. Once people started pouring in, we went towards the ocean for a cliff jump/cove swim. Amazing experience with adventurous/ uneasiness feeling throughout. This is what makes the trip worthwhile. Highly recommend this for you will never forget or...

Wonderful hike to the gorgeous Pagat Cave where you can swim in the submerged pool. Go past the cave to experience postcard views of the Guam coast line. Getting to the cave and coast line is fairly easy because it is all downhill. Going back is a different story as it is an upward slope and periods of moderate climbing the entire way back. The trail goes through dense jungle, and there is not much wind to help you cool you off, so pace yourself, drink plenty of water, and take breaks as needed.

Amazing most beautiful water cave I've ever seen, or swam in. Maybe the most beautiful in the world. Right at the bottom. WARNING, DO NOT FOLLOW THE PINK OR RED TREE TAGS! Once you go down and it becomes level again, do not follow the pink or red tags. Those trails are no longer maintained and the tags disappear along with the trail. We learned the hard way. Just go see the incredible water cave, right at the bottom. And maybe go check out the cool overlook off to the left with the ropes.
