When we arrived, there was a construction in progress at the tasting room. We were told to be seated in some sort of an old living room area inside the management office, where we could hear the employees talking (& construction noises). We felt super awkward and out of place sitting there because it felt like we were sitting in somebody's living room. It would've been better if they could informed us before we arrived that the construction was happening and the wine hall was closed, or offered us a table somewhere outside or more enjoyable place.
We waited quite a bit to finally get the first glass of wine. However, the wine glass was super dirty, which they claimed it as hard water markings. I get that you could get water marks on glasses, but most of the places I've been to would usually wipe it off to look clean so I don't really buy their excuse on this.
Worst of all was that the wine had so much dust floating in, which was super DISGUSTING. It was in all the glasses we received.
We ended up requesting for a refund. I appreciated that the manager took it fairly well. However, I still cannot believe how poorly we were treated at the place from the moment we set a foot on...

Read moreMy family and I had never gone wine tasting before and wanted to enjoy time together as covid19 kept us from seeing each other for some time. We were present on July 25th at 230. We booked our reservations online and had a wonderful time. Pawel (I'm sorry if I'm misspelling your name) was a great host and shared in our random chats. He also recommended some good places for food as this was our third winery on our trip and, well, we needed food pretty bad by now lol. We were allowed to walk around the grounds during our tasting as long as we social distanced and looked around the Jefferson house. Pawel was also kind enough to bug his ceo to find out what kind of tree we were enjoying the shade of to find out it was a chestnut tree. Added that to the list of plants to add in our own landscaping. Their gardens were very pretty with plenty of shade. Their wine tasting selection was also very good but I am not a wine expert so I wouldn't know a thing about explaining it to anyone considering going. I would just recommend that you stop here on your trip. Thank you all for a wonderful time and helping my family enjoy seeing each other after...
