I absolutely cannot get enough of this place ! Whenever I need to feel as if I am in my own private world I head here. It’s absolutely breathtaking and will make you feel as if you are in another world and not in Yuma, Arizona. There are lots of trails and things you can get yourself into here, so I highly recommend coming here for a day in the sun or an evening walk with a friend.

Easy, groomed walking/biking trails and a wide variety of shore birds make this park special. There's even a sandy beach for those who want to get in the water. Cormorants, osprey, egrets, owls, hummingbirds, vultures, flycatchers and herons are all around the park.

There is a really cute children's play area, too. Shade is plentiful on the east end of the park. And there has always been plenty of parking on my visits.
