Tahtapul Mosque — Attraction in Tashkent

This is one of the new mosques which was opened in December 2023 in Taxtapul area. It's exterior mixed from Uzbek and Arabic-maghreb style. But... you will see another style in interior of mosque. You can't shake the feeling that the architect used Gothic and Romanesque elements in interior. You will not find there oriental patterns or arabesques but only white colored walls and semi-columns. Only some ganch work and calligraphy on the dome... And very beautiful doors, it seems in maghreb style with patterns. There are special rooms for ablution and praing for women in the ground floor.
