About: This is an interesting cave site, a FEW KM off QL4C Road. However, for anyone who’s interested in coming here but be warned, there’s a fairly tough HIKE to get up to the CAVE ENTRANCE.

Getting There: Coming from QUAN BA, the access road is on the LEFT, directly across the road from the AN KHANG HOTEL. The access road is one of those CEMENT LANEWAYS and it takes you through some very SCENIC terrain, to the PARKING AREA for your motorbikes. Note: The distance from QL4C road to the PARKING AREA is around 4 km.

Uphill Hike: From the parking area there’s a 1.5 KM HIKE through a majestic landscape, to the CAVE ENTRANCE. The final section of the hike is up a long flight of steps which will certainly have you perspiring and breathing hard, by the time you get to the ticket office. Note: If you come here on a warm afternoon, take plenty of drinking water. As of October 2025, the ENTRY FEE for the CAVE is 30,000 VND.

Cave Tour: The cave has been properly set up for tourism. There’s a solid cement pathway, with handrails, which does a circuit through the cave. From the entrance you travel down the right-hand side of the cave and return along the left. The distance to the back end of the cave is approximately 300 meters. The cave has internal illumination, but the day I was there, the power was off. For back-up you can grab a head lamp at the ticket office, if you don’t have your own lights. The cave has a large internal volume (larger than Tham Luong Cave) and a lot of impressive sized formations (stalactites and stalagmites) for viewing. It’s also nice and cool inside, and a welcome relief after the sweaty hike up to the entrance.

Safe...

Be mindful it’s a steep walk to the cave but, there’s a little food and drink stop just before. To refuel if needed. It was a beautiful place to see all the different formations and there are also praying wells which was cool to see. There’s a section that’s really tight which my claustrophobia did not let me go down. I tried to stay behind the group and I was the only one in there and it was quite erie.

The cave has only been...

Nice cave. Motorbike parking about 2km before the cave, it’s not allowed and also not possible to drive to the cave (at the time of writing this review, Google Maps didn’t recognize this)

Walking to the cave takes approximately 20-30 min, for the cave you should plan 30-60 min, depending if you do the extra part at the end, which I definitely recommend, even though it’s...
