Dora Bay — Attraction in Hạ Long City

This beach has a sign called ‘Dora Bay’. It is beautifully landscaped with lovely palm trees, a nice sandy beach with a few shells. There is a lifeguard in a tower and we saw security walking around. There is constant music coming from the lifeguard hut. There is a demarcated swimming area. The past weekend there was some planned activities for guests? Students? Where they did games in groups with a photographer, together with DJ and lots of loud music going on forever. Many ladies come here in the early morning for photographs. You can find families digging for shellfish on the weekends. Often the bay is muddy due to fishing vessels who are churning the water for shellfish. There is a tap to wash the sand off your feet which is helpful....

Sora Bay is a relatively clean beach but beware of the sharp shells that can cut your feet. There are lovely tall palm trees which look fabulous in photographs. In the early morning you can see many woman come and have photos taken. The landscaping is lovely. We saw security moving around regularly. There is a lifeguard in the area, downside is there is music blaring all the time. No quite, beach walk with nature! Be mindful that there are many boats and people sifting through the beach sand and in the water for shellfish which disturbs...

Bãi biển có khu vực phao , và chỉ nên tắm trong khu vực phao nổi. Mọi người chủ yếu đi tắm biển vào buổi chiều. Buổi sáng nước rút cạn, chỉ còn bùn lầy, thích hợp cho các bạn nhỏ bắt còng còng hoặc vỏ ốc. Gần đó có khu vực nhà vệ sinh thay đồ, nhưng hôm mình đi lại ko có nước để tráng chân , hay tráng người.
