This location maybe part of the mountain pass, but it's not the official stopping point. However, at this section, you can actually see the Deo Da Trang viewpoint (which attracts fees to use the vantage points). This section has a few food and coffee shops as well as fruit/vegetable vendors etc.. The cafes and food shops have some great views, but of course, you have to use their services to get access to any unobstructed views of the scenery of Tan Lac and Xom Bay. With cafe's and shops blocking the stunning views....then charging an outrageous premium to view them. The locals get quite irrate when you try to get a free view and the other spots along the QL6 highway are too dangerous to stop to take photos or view mother nature's beauty.
