Totally underrated cave. When I heard swimming was a part of the cave tour, I thought oh it is going to be a little tiny swim to get inside the cave and the rest would be like the other caves we saw (phong nha, paradise). Nope, an totally unique, awesome experience where you swim the entire length of the cave and get to float on back out in darkness (via jungle boss tour). Very exhilarating. A must-visit place on your tour of Vietnam. The hike there through the national park is stunning, and you'll be driving a little of the historical Ho Chi Minh trail on the way to the start point. The cave itself is impressive to start and becomes more magical the further you swim in. Be sure to visit during the drier months as it tends to flood too much for visiting during the rainy season. Well done Jungle boss great tour. We had a bbq lunch in the jungle followed by quite tricky rock climb to mouth of cave. My 4 year old was not up to going inside. . And to be fair this tour is suited 10yrs+ probably for full experience. But i swam inside in small group of 6 with jungle boss and had a great experience. Quite a long and dark swim but worth it to get deep in cave and turn off lights. . A great 40th birthday...
