The hotel is new property and close to the airport and almost 20 km from the main city centre. It is almost in the middle of the residential hub of prominent Bab Ezzouar area and there is no shop or restaurant just outside the hotel, hence if you do not have a transport it will be difficult for you to go out in the evening for anything you may like to. Though Hotel is only 3-4 km from the BabEzzouarr mall and lots of local eating options, it is difficult to get a Taxi near the hotel.||Since the Hotel is new, everything was in good shape, starting from the lobby , lift , room and utilities though the reception looks very small. The restaurant looks quite big though the options are limited. The food quality though is good. The same place serves the breakfast in the morning the spread of which is limited. In the hotel there is no bar and smoking and consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited in the hotel.||The rooms and bed are good, the light inside looks insufficient. They provide free wi-fi but it is not reliable as at times it does not connect from some rooms. They have LCD TV in the room but number of channels are limited and there is no English channel. They check the bags and packets of all people coming in especially in the evening; which is irritating for the guests. The Hotel is grossly over priced may be due to scarcity of hotels in Algiers. The only good part of the Hotel is free drop and pick up from...
Read moreMust begin thanking the front office staff for being helpful and concerned, to accommodate us at absolute short notice. Being ejected out of Mercure, despite having a confirmed reservation, we were desperate for a hotel to sleep over. Jardy popped up on bookings.com. The hotel staff had not received the bookings online confirmation, but the front office went out of the way to provide us rooms for the night. On entering the room, you realise it gets over before it starts. Very minimalisitc features and amenities. Not sure, who decides on the star ratings (Jardy has a 4-star rating!!!). a poor wifi connection. Very ordinary and inadequate lighting in the room. All rooms are non-smoking. The hotel does not have a bar. The one restaurant in the hotel serves some food and also is the breakfast place. The comforter is kept folded in the cupboard. Dont be surprised not finding one on the bed. The rooms have split AC units and the unit in my room was not functional. Luckily the weather was nippy and i did not have a need for the AC.The hotel itself is located in a busy suburb, sorrounded by car mechanic shops. they do have a shuttle to and from the airport. It is also located not very far from the airport.||The breakfast spread was ordinary, but decent. .||||i would not want to stay at the Jardy for comfort or ambience. Did see a lot of arab families staying there. i suppose the absence of liquor makes Jardy their...
