PACHA HOTEL — Hotel in Oran

I was looking forward to staying at this hotel after a family in Algeria recommended with possitive feedback. However my experience was really bad and was left very disappointed. As this hotel is not a 4star as they advertise.

The room we were given as a family of 4 was very small, we didn't have a kettle in the room although it mentions on their website that all rooms are provided with a kettle. The mini fridge doesn't work. So we couldn't keep drinks and yoghurt for children cold.

Also the bedsheets had stains from before and dust on the headboard of the bed. The only place I've seen that is well maintained is the ground floor reception area which looks very attractive as you enter.

We didn't have enough towel and when we requested for room service or for the towels, kettle we were told our room doesn't come with that option. When booking they did not specify what the room is like or what facilities it includes.

We had pre booked for 3 nights for a trial had we liked it we would have stayed longer but due to the service we decided not to stay longer and we won't be coming back.

The possitive feedback I can say is that they have some friendly staff although they smoke around kids in a none smoking area that was very unhealthy for us none smokers. My children enjoyed the swimming pool. Breakfast was alright but you have to get there early as everything goes quickly as its a buffet.

Location wise there are few shops/coffee shop/ fast food/supermarket walking distance and a small play area as well as a pharmacy and urgent care centre near by.

I don't understand why advertise something if you can't fulfil the service advertised, Or to not treat your customers the same...

Worth the effort definitely, the price and the vacation there.

Staff are very friendly. Buffet dinner is awesome. Rich breakfast. Everything is clean.

the rooms with the view of the pool are the best, the sunset, the mall and the southern side of the city which I love. Room is spacious, not too big not too small, aired, New furniture, 2 water, a boiler, glacess, tea and coffee all in black. Reading lamp. Clean clean room. Shower is so hot it takes all your tiredness away. Digital mirror and a zooming one. Drying robe.

There is a pool, patio, ice cream shop, Snacks distributor, chocolate and soda and water and juice. trampoline, Aquaparc for kids not for ADULTS. Single both Sanitary and shower changing rooms for both genders. Staff taking care of the pool always. Everyone doing their job everyone in place. There is a Parking lot. There is everything in so little space.

hopefully in the future some changes might take place concerning the location, such as moving the road away to avoid the noise of...

The hotel is very convenient. Although the location is average (about 9.5 Km from ''front de mer"), the cleanliness and the service are very good. Room amenities are also very amazing. The staff (reception, cleaning and waiting staff) are utterly professional , efficient, helpful and just so polite. They are willing to be at your service anytime and they are trustworthy (we kept our key room in the reception even we had the possibility to take it with us). We had ( me and my coleague sara) a wonderful experience staying for 7 nights at this hotel. Ah I forget to speak about the food which was so so so delicious. The only thing that I wished was that it would be cheaper. It was a little pricey for me (seeing it's location).Anyway , I highly recommend this hotel to anyone...
