Hotel Federico I — Hotel in Concordia

We enjoyed Concordia lovely town.. The hotel is very old and I have always wanted to stay in one of these rooms. The old fashioned antiquted romantic balcony over looking the streets. The rooms are clean pretty dated however I think renovations are appearing. The staff are all fantastic speak english very well and extremely helpful with maps and places to go. The rooms are quiet and basic with the original bathrooms, the shower pressure good and of a good size. The breakfast included is basic and nice coffee. The bed was a little uncomfortable for us but it is a budget well priced hotel for what you get for your money is very good. We were travelling for 6 weeks and we stopped through Concordia for 3 days and loved it well worth coming here.. Gracias to the staff and cleaners at hotel Federico Salude! Matt y Lindsay...

After one night we asked if there was another room because ours was very small, just big enough for the beds and a small path around them. The traffic noise woke me several times throughout the night and early morning. We were told that the price would be higher for the other rooms and nothing further was offered to solve our problems. Now I write this on our second night since we had to close the window because of the noise, the air-conditioner doesn't work, and the ceiling fan is louder than the traffic. The staff here is lovely but the price doesn't meet the value. The beds are very uncomfortable and you can feel the wires and springs in your back. The carpet is both dirty...

Llegó después de haber recorrido 700 kilómetros en moto, bajo un calor infernal, de noche, empapado en sudor y muerto de cansancio. Elegí el hotel en booking.com basándome en las críticas y el precio. Puerta a la calle pero recepción en el primer piso y tramo de escaleras muy empinado con puerta cerrada en medio del tramo. Toco el timbre varias veces, pero sólo abren la puerta cuando estaba a punto de salir, después de tres minutos. En recepción me piden 32.000 pesos frente a los 19.000 que ponía en booking.com. Le señalé que el precio que había visto era mucho menor y que había aparcado la moto en la calle llena de equipaje. Entonces me ofrecieron 22 mil pesos por una noche. Cansado, agotado y empapado en sudor, acepté sin siquiera ver la habitación. El aparcamiento de la moto está a 500 metros, al aire libre con empedrado y las ruedas de la moto se hunden y cuesta un esfuerzo enorme moverla. Subir el equipaje solo por esas estrechas y empinadas escaleras era un desafío, el personal sólo tenía que mantener la mitad de la puerta abierta. Cuando vi la habitación, me habría puesto a llorar. El nuevo hotel Federico I vuelve a tener nada: ventanas con marcos rotos que tienen al menos 60 años. Ventilador de techo que hacía ruido de tractor. El aire acondicionado tardó dos horas en enfriar la habitación que era un horno. No importa el desayuno que estaba incluido, ni siquiera quiero hablar de eso. Me detendré aquí porque no vale la...
