Hotel Valle Grande — Hotel in Mendoza

We stayed a few days after New Year - the resort was full, which attests to this place´s popularity with travelling families and groups of friends.||||The good: Beautiful location, the pool and TV room are very nice, the foyer and restaurant are attractive and airy, staff were friendly, it was easy to arrange activities from here, the included buffet breakfast was plentiful and tasty. There are activities to do on site as well, like pool and table tennis.||||The indifferent: The room was fine, spacious enough, the carpet was a bit dirty and worn.||||The bad: They were renovating the hotel while it was full, the airconditioning failed twice including in the middle of the night (not good with a baby in a very hot climate), the water to the room was turned off twice without notice, the room with the pool table looked like it hadn´t been cleaned since the 20th century, restaurant meals varied from good to not great, staff were trying their best but seemed overstretched at times.||||Would consider staying here again but would also look at other options, and hope that management had ironed out the issues described above - this place could easily be 5 out of 5 with a little additional care...

la reserva fue por una habitación estándar con vista a la montaña, cuando nos entregaron la misma daba a un estacionamiento. el depósito del baño no funcionaba. luego del reclamo, nos ofrecieron una habitación superior, la cual era exactamente igual, incluso el mismo precio. A lo que consultamos por qué no la había ofrecido antes y la respuesta fue que cuando llamamos no la tenía y que se había desocupado hacía unos días. Nos la podrían haber ofrecido apenas llegamos pero sucedió cuando reclamamos. tuvimos que hacer pedido de toallas donde tuvimos que aclarar (toallón y toalla) y nos respondieron que la habitación no estaba preparada para 3 personas. no hay limpieza diaria de la habitación, ni siquiera retiro de residuos del baño. se cortaba la energía eléctrica de manera reiterada y, cuando esto sucedía, se cortaba el agua. una de las veces me bañe con agua con barro. no funcionan las luces de emergencia, el establecimiento queda completamente oscuro y los cortes del suministro son recurrentes. en ningún lugar había carteles aclarando que el agua no es para consumo humano. la conexión wifi no funcionaba en ningún sector del hotel, ni siquiera en el hall, lugar en el que se suponía funcionaba. Estábamos completamente incomunicados. después de una tormenta el pasillo a las habitaciones del primer piso se mojó todo por roturas en el techo. previo a hacer la reserva, llame al establecimiento para consultar si tenían desayuno sin tacc respondieron que sí. El desayuno sin tacc era unas galletas de arroz y queso. Se pidió un huevo duro, a lo que la persona encargada de servir el desayuno respondió que estaba ocupado con los huéspedes y que no tenía tiempo para hacerlos. Me pregunto que éramos nosotras. Después de discutir por este tema, trajeron dos huevos hechos que por la temperatura ya los tenían hechos, se acercaron a la mesa y nos los tiraron. no hay vajilla que se pueda higienizar correctamente, las bandejas en las que sirven el desayuno absorben todo lo que se vuelca, se utilizan unos nylons para protegerla y los cubiertos son descartables, generando un montón de residuos además de la falta de higiene en las bandejas que ofician de platos para el servicio del desayuno. Sumado a ese listado de temas, las personas encargadas de atender a los huéspedes todo el tiempo dando respuestas absurdas y con pocas ganas de resolver. Por lo único que estaban atentos era por cobrar, no tienen preparación y no tienen foco en que los huéspedes son quienes, en definitiva, pagan...
