I arrived with my family punctually at 2PM (check-in set hour) and the room was not ready, I was kindly asked to wait 10 minutes but 10 minutes became 1 hour. In the meantime I saw another new guests arriving the front-desk to do check-in and their rooms were quickly assigned. I asked why I had to wait for 1 hour for my room and another guests not, the answer I received was "they have another kind of reservations"... What does this means? I felt discriminated because I had a reservation trough IHG reward nights program. Let me explain this: If I have a reward night trough IHG its because previously I paid a lot for reservations in different IHG hotels, its not something I received for free, it`s because of loyalty to the IHG program. After the third time I went to the front-desk to complain, I was assigned a new room, not the one I reserved with view to the mountains, but a new one with view to a local market. Except this check-in situation, the experience was really good. Clean room, poor quality image in the TV, my kid really enjoyed the Easter activities, nice swimming pool, sauna, enjoyable food and excellent dinner with the piano-man. Remarkable attention from the guys in the cafeteria. I stayed in a lot of hotels across the world and I have never seen guests hugging and kissing the bartenders before checking-out as a clear demonstration...
Read moreI've stayed twice at the hotel, as the location has been very convenient for my needs. There is also a shopping mall nearby which is good as an alternative for dinning out of the hotel and so on.
Overall, both my stays have been OK, but they haven't been great. The rooms are reasonably clean, but furniture is fairly old and they feel a bit cramped with twin beds. Breakfast is good overall, with lots of options and tasty.
If you're a PC elite member, don't count on having any benefit at this property. I'm platinum (+ ambassador, also), and I've never gotten even a special greeting during check in, much less any extra amenities or a room upgrade.
I usually travel for business so are using corporate rates, and the hotel isn't exactly cheap (but not terribly expensive either).
On my last stay, ran into two annoying issues: One was a toilet on my room that wouldn't flush very well. The second was that I had asked the lady at the front desk to schedule a cab to the airport for 5:30AM the night before.
Turns out the guy in the next shift misread her handwriting (!) and woke me up at 3:30AM saying the cab had arrived. Not the best way to...

They mak me wait for an hour for a room that was not ready and when I showed up after waiting they gave me the room keys but as was leaving the front desk they call me back and gave another.. The room was ok. The service on the breakfast was terrible bad. A waitress boke a glass cup by my side and lef all the broken glass by my side on the floor where many people where passing by. When I called her telling her that if she did not pick them someone would get hert she told me that she was waiting for someone from the cleaning company to do it. After waiting some minutes and warning other customers about the risk while they walked through the risky glases I ended picking them up my self to avoid an accident. ( I did not wanted to have breackfast with blood... I was waked up at '8:05 whith a terrible noise of someone that was cutting the grass by the swiming pool not farder than 3 meters from my window ,...
