Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights (supposed to be 2 but our flight got cancelled)||Hotel is in a great location to walk into town to the plentiful bars and restaurants. ||The room was a little old fashioned and tired but clean, comfy bed (not the pillows) and good shower. The room had a safe and a fridge but the fridge was noisy so we unplugged it and the safe was broken. The air con was very good.||The hotel was great when our flight got cancelled and put us in the room next door at a very reasonable cost. This was much appreciated.||Breakfast was okay, no hot food other than toast. The coffee was terrible though, might be personal taste but not good.||There was nowhere in the hotel to get a drink during the day. Would be nice if they had some bottles of water available to purchase. The shops are close enough but the hotel are missing a trick here as I’m sure they’d sell if available.||The staff were all very friendly but they did mess up ordering our taxi for our departure to the airport. Our revised flight time meant us having to get a taxi to the airport 5.45am and we ordered it the day before. On going to reception it was obvious the taxi hadn’t been ordered and the poor guy on reception was panicking as no taxi companies were answering the phone. Anyway, luckily we managed to get one at around 6.15am so all was fine. ||The pool area was quite nice with a few loungers and table and chairs. ||Would we stay again? Not sure, it was a good price for the location but I’d probably look around at...
Read moreHotel Jardin de Iguazú is located in the centre of Puerto Iguazú at walking distance from the bus-station and at 21 km of IGZ airport. The hotel offers 32 rooms and 5 apartments over 2 floors, and a patio with a small outdoor pool. The young lady receptionists are self-important, not helpful and hardly able to say a word in English.||||The hotel is pleasant and clean. Free Wi-Fi. At ground floor you find the breakfast room and reception. All air-co compressors are at the roof of the first floor and can be noisy. Windows can be opened and but have no mosquito screens. You have to sleep with the windows closed or face the small persistent buzzing devils.||||We had a room at the first floor with view of the small garden. Our room was adequately furnished and decorated, with an OK double-bed & bedlinen, air-conditioning, TV on the wall, wardrobe & safe. We had a separate bathroom with toilet, washbasin, bidet and shower. All was clean.||||The breakfast is OK: pastries & croissants, bread & toast, ham & cheese, butter & marmalade, fruit salad & orange juice, cornflakes, milk & thin yoghurt, tea & coffee.||||We found hotel Jardin de Iguazú comfortable and we had...
