Komitas Avenue Guest House — Hotel in Yerevan

The hostel was created only some months ago. The staff is incredibly friendly, these are the people you really feel at home with. They've helped us a great deal at planning our trips around Yerevan and Armenia, communicated at our request with other accommodation providers and travel services. They've given us trips around the city, even cooked at our request, all free of charge.||||In each morning, awesome Nelly, the hotel administrator, had been preparing for us tasty breakfasts.||||All rooms are neatly and just recently renovated. Other than beds they are furnished with a table, chair, cabinet with a mirror, comfortable lockable night stand. They also include a hair dryer. Last, but not least, they are furnished with awesome pictures of rural Armenia which are somehow reminiscent of the atmospheric Yerevan Marketplace, which is situated just about right at the doors of the hostel itself.||||The hostel amenities include a bicycle.||||The hostel is at the walking distance from the picturesque Victory Park, one of the great things about the park is that it gives you the panoramic view of all the city of Yerevan and is nearby the Yerevan Cascade that takes you right to the centre of the city. ||||The location is not at the centre of the city, but unbeatable if the quality and price of the accommodation are taken into account.||||The least of the things we liked is the water temperature valves at the shower, which take time to be accustomed to.||||The best of the things we liked are the night discussions with Nona, one of the hostel administrators. ||||This is absolutely the...

The guesthouse was chosen because it's pretty close to the main sights if Yerevan and comes with good ratings. My plan was to cycle around in Armenia and then travel to Georgia, but due to Corona-virus the border was closed and I had to return to Yerevan, where I again stayed in Komitas guest house. So I'm total I spent 6 nights there. It's a clean and modern guesthouse which comes with all facilities one needs. The owner is very friendly and helpful and makes that start into the new day very easy with a delicious home cooked breakfast. ||The guesthouse is located opposite a 24hr supermarket, very close to the to of the Cascade / Victory park and also very close to the Genocide museum.
