It was pretty overwhelming looking for accomodation for our Barossa stay but we were so glad we found Hewitson. The location and setting of the accomodation can’t be beaten - as others have mentioned, you have free reign of the vineyard which is just fantastic to explore. The rooms are modern, clean and equipped with quality mattresses and bed linen. We had a couple of mix ups when it came to our room allocation but Dean and Camille were quick and apologetic and extremely accomodating.

We were offered a complimentary tasting where we also enjoyed a cheeseboard out on the deck. They have some truly beautiful wines here which we favoured over some of the other local wineries and cellar doors we visited.

It was pretty cool to be at the winery whilst the owner (Dean) was on site too! Such a lovely guy and obviously very involved. Thanks so much for a...

Barossa & Light Cab Service rate the Hewitson Winery a must do experience whilst in the Barossa. Located on the iconic Seppeltsfield road, this winery ticks all the boxes. Including being family owned, having some of the oldest vines in the Barossa, and wines that are in the top 100 chosen by James Halliday Open the big door, at the cellar door, and enter into the world of Hewitdon. Wonderful, relaxing views. Great product that reflects the region well. And, friendly and engaging staff. We highly recommend Hewitson Winery to our wine tour and taxi guests. Our favourite wine of the range is the 2017 Ned & Henry's Shiraz or the 2014 Falkenberg Shiraz, both being exceptionally...

What an amazing find as I drove through the Barossa! As you pull up, and get to the big door, it is like stepping though, into another world as you enter! What a surprise,! You see right across all the vines, - tables and chairs on a deck, with the most amazing views. What better way to spend the day than sitting, overlooking the vines, with a glass of wine, and a generous cheese platter, how could a day be any...

Fabulous accomodation, very quite and comfortable. Private guests at a vineyard! Tasting was very good , Frank was very knowledgeable and lovely . All vines were outstanding quality but my favourite was the 23 Lu lu , a Sauvignon Blanc like no other i have tasted ! The grounds are beautiful and well kept . It was great to walk around them in the morning

We stayed in the Press room and we really enjoyed our 3 nights. Modern room and bathroom. Nice and quiet away from the busier town, and at times we had the winery to ourselves where we could stroll through the vineyards and enjoy the lovely deck. The complimentary tasting and breakfast was also nice. Thank you Hewitson Team ☺️
