Hi Readers, we had been at this campground in Aug, site no 15. This site is just a next to site no. 16 and opposite is site no 14. Since we had a 4WD with roof top tent and sheds of 270 degree awing, i would say all these sites are not having enough space as we wanted. Also, between site no 15 and 16, there is no proper blanket or a privacy. As we spent weekend in August month, obviously the campground was not crowded, neither beach. Even plus point is, between the site of 15 and 16, there is gateway straight to the beach. Also, if you book the site 16, you will directly be able to use the table and Firepit placed by Vic parks. Secondly, from the table and firepit area, you will be able to enjoy direct ocean view right from your chair. I must say you will enjoy more the oceanic view, swimming in the ocean and sound of the waves, bird chirping at the night than the congested camping place. If you have a big family like 2-3 vehicles, I would say book site no 15, 16 , so that you will get full access of VIC park arrangement and your own chair...

This was a really nice area to camp and explore.

This is a review of Site 9, the site we booked. It is directly next to site 10, with no trees between sites (see photo). This could be good or bad depending upon whether you've booked both sites to accommodate a larger group.

The site is quite rocky. We couldn't get all our tent pegs in so we had to use rocks (lucky we had some paracord). Lovely (although slightly obscured) view of the beach from the site, and directly next to beach access track. It is further away from the toilets than most sites...

An awesome campground in the National Park. So much wildlife around, such a beautiful beach with a stunning sunrise over the ocean. A nice waterfall behind the hike-in-sites at the back of the campground. The road in is quite bumpy in some spot and we had some difficulties to turn around our 7m long van when leaving our site, so be prepared for some manouvering. Not accessible for caravans and I wouldn't recommend it for vehicles longer than 7m or higher than 3.5m as there are some narrow turns and also some low...

A fantastic camp ground. Toilets. Some fire pits to share. More info available on WikiCamps. The beach is literally right next to you, perfect for morning walks and afternoon swims. There are quite a few walks to do with lookouts. I saw one koala on a walk, which was cool. The drive in is fantastic too. Highly recommend this camp ground. Booking through Parks Victoria website is required.

Amazing experience, drove in at night time so missed out on seeing exactly what was around us, but woke up in the morning literally 10 metres from the ocean, amazing sunrise and beautiful forest all around us. Communal fire pit there with a cooking hot plate on top, toilets and a small under cover area if needed. Highly recommend.
