Driving into the holiday park I was well amazed. Hubby booked a suprise get away, for the kids and us to escape from our everyday busy lives.

We stayed in one of their beautiful 3 bedroom, wooden cabins, that include toilet and shower. They're truly stunning. Luckily there were 2 left when we booked it a few weeks ago. You can park right out the front of your cabin, makes unloading and loading SOOO MUCH easier.

Be sure to bring your own beach towels. (only bath towels are supplied)

They too have camping toilets and BBQ areas, camping and camper van spots available.

Just be mindful the cabins are fairly close together and the walls are thin, so you can hear other kids running up and down from inside your cabin. You get beautiful native wildlife come nearly right up to your door - kangaroos and Baby Joey's.

They have a putt putt golf course, tennis courts, a solar heated pool + toddler pool (closes @ 8pm), a HUGE NICELY set out kids gated play area with 2 HUGE jumping pillows, a pirate ship playground, a very high climbing frame with slide to the top, multiple swing sets with toddler and adult swings, a two person hanging see-saw, a kids area toddler play module, what I believe to be a 4 person see-saw & much more. The park closes as DUSK.

A arcade room that has toy grabber machines and a air hockey table. (The driving arcade games were not working!) They also have classes for kids and adults although they were not on when we stayed. The Arcade closes at 6pm.

They have WiFi but we had trouble connecting throughout our stay, especially being located just behind the reception building. They were amazed we weren't getting any as its apparently very very good where we were located. It took me hours to stream a movie. I did think it was awesome they had google chromecasts connected for the guests.

If your with optus, forget about any available reception. You need to drive out to Ulladulla or Batemans Bay. They say telstra is a-okay tho.

They have a kitchen with all the supplies you need, a fridge, toaster, electric cook top, microwave & kettle so be sure to bring groceries unless you plan to travel or head out for dinner.

They are very organised with their rubbish, bins for your rubbish bags, plastic, cardboard, cans and glass.

They do have a local IGA, pharmacy, news agent, coffee/takeaway/Pizza shop, alcohol shop and gift shop very close by.

They have a designated BBQ on your front porch with seating on the balcony, to enjoy the cooler summer nights.

It's a walk through the park to the beach and let me say its absolutely stunning. They have beach front villas with Webber's I must say they look amazing.

There are no lifeguards at the beach so it's swim at your own risk.

Be sure to drive thru the park slowly, there are lots of kids out on their bikes & scooters and wildlife about.

I reccomend this park, its one of the BIG4 PARKS. Very family oriented. Our family sure had a blast. The kids were over the moon. Memories to...

Just a little feedback on my stay at racecourse beach holiday park.

I called & made a booking and they completely stuffed the dates up twice. After contacting them twice about this they finally got the dates correct though they got the amount of people that were staying wrong. Again they got this wrong twice. After they finally got the dates and the amount of people correct I never received my invoice.

We arrived to the holiday park with 4 people which was 2 cars ( I paid for 4 people) though only 1 car was aloud In the holiday park . Not once did they advise me only 1 car was aloud in the holiday park as if I was aware of that prior to booking I would have went else wear. Both of our cars were 4wds so our camp site was revolved all around the cars.

We went back to reception to speak to the staff to explain that our set up needed the cars. This one lady was lovely enough to understand our situation and let us take both cars In as the other 2 people were only staying for 1 night ( our site was big enough to fit 2 cars). After spending the day at the beach we headed back to our campsite and decided to go down to the shops to get a few things.

Unfortunately when we entered our pin into the boom gate it had been cancelled. Another lady then told us we had to leave the car on the side of the road as it wasn't aloud back in.

The staff at this holiday park were absolutely horrible and not understanding one bit . I would never reccomend this holiday park to anyone.

When using the showers we had to pay 20c for 3 minutes of hot water though unfortunately the hot water actually never worked when we paid. So the machine ate our money & we had to have a cold shower, the toilets were disgusting and unhygienic, the camp sites were not maintained one bit.

This trip was very disappointing we ended up leaving early due to the staff members...

We stayed here for a week during the Jan school holidays. We booked 2 cabins that we shared between 3 families. Cabins were nicely renovated and had very generous lounges. Beds were also very comfortable. The showers were small but to be expected when you book a cabin. The pool is amazing, nice and large and well heated. Not too hot and not too cold. The playgrounds are perfect for all ages and the 2 jumping pillows were a winner also. Although we didn’t camp, some of the camping sites looked a little worn but that’s also to be expected just after the busy Xmas period. Location is great, but no phone reception. They did advise of this with the booking confirmation so it didn’t come as a shock. Not too many downsides apart from the office staff not being very welcoming/friendly. Before our stay I had called to check when the remaining balance had to be paid. I was told it had actually passed by a few days and that I needed to pay now(which is fine). I told them I needed to get the money from the other families we were going with first and would call back to pay. I was made to feel like I’d done something wrong even though I was the one that had called them. Another factor we didn’t like is that you have to pay for fresh towels (even with a week long stay). It would be good if they allowed you to have a refresh of towels once during a weeks stay without having to pay extra. The balconies on the cabins are nice, but found them just a tad squishy. Slightly larger balconies on the 3 bedroom cabins would make things just a little less cumbersome when cooking and eating outside. If the customer service improves this place would be close...

We've been coming to this park for about 20 years and if I were you, I'd be going somewhere else. The current, new managers don't understand basic customer service to the point that my mother got verbally attacked by the manager, Merle, who was drinking with a staff member while in uniform on the site next to us. All because there were two cars parked within our site (which is permitted, and which I use to treat my disabled father to coffee dates). God knows what she'd say or act to someone else if they actually broke her sacred rules, unless you're a school group as you'll be allowed to party until 2am. Best to steer clear until she's gone. If you do choose to stay - good luck, bring earplugs for the weekends and a mask for the stench of the septic system. Edit as the responder has missed the point and seems to think it's ok to verbally abuse a long term customer. For the record, what was stated on check-in by Kylie was that if the car was causing problems (which I'll add, we stay off peak so there is more staff than campers) she would ask us to move it. Nothing was mentioned. You may wish to update your welcome letter, if what you claim below is the case (attached to this review for your reference). Regardless, how this is cause for the manager to verbally attack a guest is beyond me. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. If you claim safety reasons then perhaps enforcing the speed limit when there are children on bikes and scooters could be a better use of your time.
