Booked this caravan park last month for 3 nights with my partner and I, only stayed for 2 unfortunately. On their website it displays that the office is open until 5pm everyday. We arrived at 4:30pm to find the office locked which would not have been an issue if we were contacted and told that this was going to happen and our slip was in the box. I tried calling the mobile number displayed on the front door 3 times however received no answer. We tried the lock box which was left unlocked and found our reservation information in there thankfully. We we're extremely disappointed in the facilities cleanliness and upkeep, the park looks nothing like the pictures displayed on google. The amenities block was filthy. The women's showers had hair all over the floor. No soap provided for handwashing, the mop bucket had mould growing over the top. The pool looked like i had not been cleaned in months. I felt as if i had wasted my money in this caravan park. This experience really impeded on our enjoyment of Beechworth unfortunately. I hope this caravan park takes these issues into consideration and makes some drastic changes, they're situated in a picturesque location with plenty of tree's and greenery.

Recently stayed in a cabin, and found the hospitality from the manager very disappointing. Our cabin was right next to dump point for caravan’s toilets, and on first night, we couldn’t sit on veranda or open any windows due to terrible smell. We called the manager before 6pm about this issue and if we could change cabins, but she said cabins were full booked, and showed no empathy for our situation. (Which nobody stayed in cabin next door, for the 2 nights we stayed there). We then met some other guests who were doing a self-check in at about 9pm to their cabin, and no key was left in their envelope. Which the emergency phone number given, was not answering, so these guests had to book accommodation elsewhere!! On the Sunday, we then asked for a late checkout for 1 hour, and was again given a “no that’s not our policy” - even though no cleaners or new guests were coming in before 12pm. Our cabin was also in need of maintenance, with hand rail on ramp entry falling off, and could cause a bad fall to an elderly person. Unfortunately I think it may be time for a refresh of new managers for this park.

Glamping Pods: These little pods are exactly what you’re told - cute, warm, cosy, clean, practical accomodation! There is a shower! And toilet. Plus kitchen amenities like a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. USB power points next the warm bed. The heater works a treat, we tested it well visiting when it snowed in September! I can imagine the deck would be lovely in the sunshine, it was covered in hail when we were there! Check in and out super simple, with lovely friendly staff who turned on the lights and heater for us due to our late arrival. Easy online booking system as well. Ground has great facilities too, with pods nicely situated just that little distance away from outdoor campers to maintain some privacy. Would absolutely recommend for a simple weekend away - especially if you’re on a tech detox - phone reception is extremely limited.

Not so pet friendly accommodation. From the time we arrived at 7.30pm the manager, didn't allow us any time to settle in or settle our dogs. By 9.00pm the manager had come to our campsite on 3 occasions to state camp policies about dogs needing to be on leads, not being allowed in communal areas and keeping noise to a minimum. On these occasion he also said the leads need to be short not long, the number of dogs would not have been permitted (4 dogs among 8 people),  and that we needed to make sure our dogs don't bark. He stated that he had received several complaints and if we couldn't keep our dogs quite we would have to leave even though the park policy on noise states "excessive noise is not permitted after 10.00pm". We were happy to keep our dogs on leads and away from the communal areas. However, when we tried to raise the issue of the dogs barking upon arrival due to being unsettled the manager glossed over that fact. He was forced to admit later on in the conversation that the campers closest to us (4 different groups) spoke to him about how well behaved our dogs were and that there was no barking. This was more disappointing because he was willing to ask us to leave based on supposed complaints by other campers but made no effort to tell us when people had complimented our dogs behavior. We also raised the fact that there is no information publicly available about the restrictions in the number of pets. We had called before booking the accommodation to check that 8 people with dogs would not be an issue. The manager responded to this by saying the number of pets allowed is at the parks discretion. This was really disappointing for us as we looked forward to spending time with our family and dogs in what we previously thought was 'pet friendly'...

We stayed at this holiday park and while it was somewhat good, there were issues that will encourage us to look elsewhere for our next stay. The bad: The wifi. For those with teenage kids who wish to have a break, forget it. Wifi is practically non-existent and shouldn't even be advertised. A light fitting in our cabin was falling off and the lock on the bathroom door didn't lock at all. The door to our bedroom was not well lined up so privacy wasn't great. The screen door was also not lining up right so it was difficult to close. Colouring on the ceiling of the bathroom suggests possible mould or water damage. Bowls were crazy shallow. Dish brush was dirty - we bought a fresh one The good: Shower was nice! Bed was comfortable enough. Pool was pretty clean. Some leaves but impossible to avoid completely. Cabin was thoroughly clean. Good size fridge. Table was large enough that we weren't on top of each other. We stayed in the 3 bed villa. Conclusion: If the wifi worked, we probably would have returned but wifi is non-negotiable as we need to tend to important business on occasion. I decided to give 4-stars because despite my dislikes, it really wasn't that bad if you...
