Rosie's Cottage Bindoon — Hotel in Bindoon

Our stay at Rosie's Cottage was by far one of the best airbnb experience we had. Rein was an amazing host, giving us local recommendations, replying to us promptly and even ensuring we were safe on the road when we were out till wee hours stargazing at the gravity centre, knowing that we were unfamiliar with the countryside. The cottage was absolutely stunning at this time of the year and looked even more amazing in person. It was a quiet and private stay, smelt lovely with all the lavenders, and it was an amazing location to stargaze at night – we were able to spot the Milky Way at night. Rein kept the cottage really clean and provided all the necessary items for us, even stocking up the fridge, and allowed us to pick oranges by the orchard too. We enjoyed the place so much we decided to push away our second day itinerary to take it slow in the cottage instead. We stayed at Rosie's Cottage for two nights to gaze at the Milky Way and had an absolutely wonderful experience.

Our host even prepared and lit a firepit with complementary marshmallows.

Facilities are modern and comfortable with bedding, coffee, tea and fresh milk. There are cooking facilities and a microwave with a Nespresso machine and a three quarters high fridge.

There is Telstra mobile coverage and a few board games if you run out of things to say to each other.

No radio or tv, and the experience is all the richer for it.

Township is two minutes drive down the hill and offers plenty of options including the Bakehaus Bakery and a modern IGA supermarket open 7 days.

The property is also a small citrus orchard, although the drought last year caused no crop this year.

I have just spent two nights at Rosie's Cottage in Bindoon and it couldn't have been more perfect. The little cottage was impeccably clean, it had everything you could need from a kitchen full of little luxuries, a beautiful clean and comfy bed and a gorgeous outdoor area.
