We had a great stay at this property, we travelled with our 7 month old Bub. Rachel is a lovely host.||||There are 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and 1 kitchen / dining. All on the first level (up a steep staircase) above the Post Office.||||The kitchen has a a washing machine, dryer and dish washer. Reverse cycle AC & small TV. It would be great to have a bigger TV in here and some cushions on the chairs, as this is the only space to entertain if you have visitors. Various cereals, bread, butter, vegemite, jam, tea, coffee, sugar & milk are provided.||||We found the rooms to be a bit draughty but it was freezing outside! The heaters kept the rooms nice and toasty, and I placed some cushions against the windows to stop the draughts.||||It is the perfect location! A few 100m to the supermarket and the same distance to Heritage Park, awesome park for kids of all ages when the sun is shining.||||I would recommend the double room (Green Room) at the rear of the house if you are a light sleeper as there is road noise (highway to Cowra) and some pub noise from across the road. It is also setup better for TV watching from your bed. This is the room we had Bub in. Hubby and I stayed in the Blue Room, it was larger so abit harder to heat and the draughty room of the two, with the SW winds hitting the windows.||||If the weather had been nicer, the need for TV wouldn’t have been so great haha.||||The WiFi works perfectly and easy to access.||||We will stay again, perhaps in summer...

This time, I ended up in the Blayney Post Office B & B and it couldn’t have been any different. I basically had an entire house to myself, the heaters made the bedroom and kitchen warm and cosy despite the subzero temperatures outside, and I had full kitchen facilities to prepare my own meals (breakfast foods were provided of course). The place was freshly painted, and it really felt like I had found a new home for the 3 days I was there. The owner even cleared the ice from my windscreen one morning, and she checked in several times to make sure the place was warm enough and I hadn’t run out of supplies. If I’m coming back to Blayney, I will definitely be...
Read moreFrom the moment we booked Rachel was in contact ensuring everything was organised for our overnight stay. She asked our preference for milk and bread and supplied. There are 3 rooms available but only 1 bathroom and shared kitchen so ideal for family and friends. Rachel was so considerate when another couple wanted to book the 3rd room and asked if this was ok. The home was warm and cozy when we arrived and Rachel made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was simple and easy and included juice, cereal, toast, jams,...
