Finally after 3 months on the road and staying in over 30 caravan parks, we have found a winner of the best caravan park of our trip. The friendly yet seamless near contactless external check-in window lead to a clean and freshly laid wood chip on our level site. The bathrooms and showers are the gold standard of we've encountered in caravan parks... Spotlessly clean and bright, the showers are fitted out to normal home standards, not the 3rd world prison standards found in many caravan parks. The showers are fitted with modern large shower heads controlled by a single mixer tap with as much temperature and water volume as you can wish for. The shower cubicle is separated with a glass door from your private strip down and drying area - no nasty shower curtain, missing door or wet walls, floor and clothing waiting for you here. Oh and no mozzies, midgies, flies, spiders, frogs, geckos, lizards, locusts or bugs/reptiles of any kind. Large jumping pillow and pool to keep the kids busy and all the usual camp kitchen facilities you expect. Would love to see all other caravan parks adopting this level of cleanliness and standard of amenities.

On our holiday/road trip from Perth to Gold Coast and return. Our twin cabin was roomy, clean and tidy. The kitchen and dining area was a good size, the bathroom/shower was too small though. The TV was so tiny we didn’t watch anything, it has fairly cool aircon, and some extra pillows would have gone a long way after a long day of travels. Happy with our stay though, and the price was excellent with our G'day Parks Membership @ $99 per night. Unable to reserve a cabin online for some unknown reason, so had to book via phone call. Friendly staff, accommodating for those who may arrive AFTER reception is closed to organise room key in advance. We drove into town for dinner at the Broken Hill Musicians Club, and the food was amazing! There is no restaurant at the holiday park. There is plenty of room for parking. There is a pool and play area at the centre of the grounds. Check in/out times as per usual; 2pm in, 10am out. Facility is kid-friendly, not 100% sure about pets, though. Unsure about wifi, but if they do have it, that's a bonus. Overall, I give it a 6/10. (Just my opinion/perspective)

As a family of 4 we stayed on a powered ensuite site. We found the facilities to be fantastic. Large trailer friendly parking for check in made my day! The ensuite was clean and modern. The park laundry room has new machines with timers, clothes lines and sinks. The jumping pillow was a huge hit with the kids and chess was tempting but I ran out of time. We appreciated the charity sausage sizzle and pancake breakfast it was nice not having to cook 😂. Great spot we found it quiet and it was close enough to everything. I even saw police patrols come through the park. The communal fire was a good spot to meet a bunch of fellow travellers.

We are coming to the end of 5 weeks travelling and we stayed in 17 caravan parks throughout QLD, NT, SA, VIC & NSW. On our trip, my wife and I agree this is the best caravan park we have stayed in during this time for our needs. I am not referring to location or activities, but as a caravan park, this was the best and I will say why. We are a middle aged couple and travel with no kids and our accommodation is powered site with our campervan. We avoid caravan parks that market primarily to families in order to be able to have some peace. This caravan park does have a jumping pillow and a small pool, so does cater for kids also . As we are mostly self contained, the standard of the bathroom is high on our priority list, as well as the camp kitchen. I would challenge anyone to find a better bathroom facility than what they provide here. The cubicles are large and the shower is contained with a glass door. No more shower curtains getting stuck to your bum. The shower head is large and wonderful. With the glass door, it keeps the change area within the cubicle completely dry and the change area has a bench, a shelf and numerous hooks to keep all your gear how you want it. The best showers ever. The camp kitchen is clean and tidy, no problem. The only issue for us was it was a bit of a walk, but that's ok. Our powered site was great (No.105). I took a little while to get used to the chip bark, but it is good in the rain and I found thongs or shoes better than sandals with it. We had a tree on our site which was perfect for during sitting under and reading. At this Park, they clearly aim to give people space as best they can when allocating sites as from looking around, mostly people were well spaced out. This was a problem at other Caravan Parks where it seemed no thought was given to this issue at all (Port Lincoln had no idea putting us behind a huge van making the fantastic view pointless when there were so many empty sites). Well done to Broken Hill Tourist Park and I look forward to future upgrades to your Park on...

The park itself was nicer than expected the amenities were lovely and modern. The pool area looked very nice but was freezing. The bbq area was very inviting but the addition of a sink, some better lighting and a fridge would make it amazing. There was vomit on the ground in the bbq area when we were having breakfast but with a heads up to the office it was cleaned up that day. Dog friendly which is such a bonus. Our group booked 3 cabins (we were travelling with a team of kids for a sporting event) and a couple of sites we rang in weeks prior and were told we would have specific sites close to the cabins and right next to the bbq area when we got there the staff had moved one of our sites - when enquired about moving sites back to where we were told it was not possible the staff member was incredibly rude about it and advised they would not have told us we dont confirm sites we have been here forever and there is no way you were told that. There was a site right next to our groups other site and we asked to be moved to that site but told it was not available however it remained vacant the entire time we were there. The numbers on the concrete also do not match the posts with numbers and the staff were so confused about what sites were what. Another member was able to move us to another site the actual original site we were told we were getting and that stauff member was a little more friendly but the 1st member was the rudest person I have met at a caravan park after driving 700kms in tow with a bus of 13 teenage boys it was a very unwelcoming experience. Apart from the rude staff our stay was pleasant and we would stop by again but the staff members that served us ruined the overall score of...

First up, Elissa in the office was fantastic and has saved this review from getting 1 star. There are at least 2 parts to this caravan park, there's the "old" part in front of the main gate on hard bitumen and dirt which is serviced by an old ablutions block which, although basically clean doesn't have anything else going for it and no handicapped facilities (not even a rail on the wall). This block is closed from 9.30am until 1.30pm daily. The other half of the park is the "new" or "newly refurbished" part with sites covered in thick wood chip and serviced by a super modern luxurious ablutions block which has good handicapped facilities and doesn't appear to be closed during the day. Despite clearly stating in my online booking form a couple of months beforehand that I had a slight mobility problem and needed a site close to the ablutions block, I was placed in the old section on the site the furthest from the ablutions block. It also had a tree growing on it with roots sticking out of the uneven ground so that it was difficult to park my small van just right. My site was also a long way from the new block with the handicapped facilities. You would think that when any customer states anything to do with mobility problems in their booking form their polite request would be appropriately acted on. I think my site allocation had more to do with the stated small size of my van rather than my personal needs. It's not the first time that my small van has been given the worst site (at the same cost as better sites) just because it will fit. At least my site was 3 rows from the front entrance as the noise of trucks passing out the front on the main highway thoroughfare at all hours was...
