Wow what an amazing restoration done on a beautiful historical site my hat is off to them and now restoration has been started on a beautiful old train carriage and let me say it's nothing short of incredible art work to restore such beautiful South Australian railways history it is now a bed and breakfast at the station and is a must to stay at especially if you're a railway enthusiast or people that simply love the peace and serenity of the outback towns I personally love this town and go to it quite often and for me this stay is on my up coming to do list as it sure doesn't disappoint even just going to snap photos and take it all in so do your selves a favour and take the trip you won't...

This wonderful B&B was highly recommended by friends in the B&B industry and it didn’t disappoint. The building is beautifully restored and the B&B (5 rooms) are all wonderful and generous in size with beautiful furnishings. The Queen size bed was as comfortable as being home. Siting by the log-fire at night was wonderful while reading (didn’t switch the TV on once). We checked in on the actual day of the 150th birthday of the building (by chance) and met several of the wonderful volunteers who were there celebrating the 150th with drinks & nibbles. It was cold out side but with the fire crackling the warmth and tranquility was perfect. We were welcomed with fresh fruit, bread, milk and juice, cereal and every type of tea you can imagine
