BlackPalm Cape Tribulation. — Hotel in Cape Tribulation

Words cannot adequately describe the combination of luxury, solitude, quiet and sheer natural beauty that this unique "tree house" offers. The living quarters are on the second floor (parking below) and you are perched in the midst of the Daintree jungle. One morning we were awakened by a pair of swamp wallaby bounding through the jungle into the creek bed below. Other mornings it was the chorus of birds, frogs and who knows what creature that served as our alarm clock. ||||Robes, slippers, luxurious two person bath, rain showers, picture windows on three sides, binoculars, books, enormous king sized bed, quality linens, satellite TV, internet, kitchen with dishwasher/fridge/microwave/stove, cooking/eating utensils. Stunning ! Do your self a favour and indulge in some luxury if you go to Cape Tribulation. The cabin is in the forest with glass windows and beautiful views of the greenery. The creek flows right by the cabin so all you can hear is the bubbling water and the birds . ||The spa bath is just sheer luxury. I spent 2 hours in it every day just soaking everything up- including a wine or two. ||Also first time in my life where sitting on the toilet you have a floor to ceiling view of the jungle.||Amenities were all good. We ate in 2 out of our 4 nights so we could just enjoy the place. ||The super king bed was huge and comfy. ||Just loved the place. ||If you choose to go here add on an extra day to what you think you need in the area- glad we did. ||Love Cape...

My partner and I loved our babymoon stay at Black Palm. It was honestly the highlight of our trip and we were sad to leave. We met Tess on arrival and she was so warm and friendly. She explained everything we needed to know and provided a comprehensive info booklet for our stay. Our accommodation itself was perfect and Tess has thought of everything. She even provided a bottle of non-alcoholic sparkling for me being pregnant! Everything was so peaceful and relaxing. We found, having a hire car was crucial for staying here. The only other thing we would suggest is to be mindful of the 1GB download limit each day. This wasn’t an issue for us as we caught up on reading and took a few day trips.
