Beachside Boutique Motel Mackay — Hotel in East Mackay

My daughters basketball team recently travelled to Mackay from Brisbane for their State Champs. Our whole team stayed at the Econo Lodge and it was just perfect (we had a total of 11 rooms). The onsite manager Tina was simply amazing! We had access to the laundry and the onsite Kitchen. The lodge is located directly across from a beach and park. It is a nice quiet location (until we arrived!), with easy access to the city centre and close to shops and places to eat. Tina was super helpful and worked with us to ensure the room configuration suited our families. The rooms are modern, clean and tidy and if you need anything, Tina is on hand to help. This is a wonderful little motel, a little out of the way in Mackay, but so underrated! Just a stones throw from a beautiful park with the ocean just beyond that, it is in the perfect position. A great clean modern motel, with friendly Tina to look after you. Good size room, spotlessly clean, with a view across the street to the park and beach. Could not ask for better. ||Meals are available onsite, but there is a resort nearby that will chargeback to your room. Very reasonable rates for this property. Tina, you are a star! So very friendly and the perfect host. Nothing was a trouble. The room was SPOTLESS and had everything we needed. I have over 10 years experience in accommodation management and drive my family made with oh ifthey just did this or did that or oh goodness that's not acceptable but from the instant we spike to you on the phone we had a good feeling. When I opened the door we both looked at each other and said "oh this is nice and clean". We live approx.
