Check out this awesome water playground feature at this caravan park. This place is called Big4 Beach Holiday Park, and it’s in Emu Point (basically Albany). I’ve never seen anything like this before, so I thought I’d share it. #water #waterpark #albany #emupoint

We had the best week at BIG4 Emu Beach! This was our first time staying here and we were very impressed. The facilities for the kids were so much fun, definitely something our kids will remember forever - I wish I went to a caravan park with a splash park when I was a kid! It's great that the parents can enjoy the slides too! The jumping pillows (there is a large one and a smaller one!) were great fun for the kids, as was mini golf and the nature playground. Super close to the beach, I loved falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves rolling in, something I'll miss the most! The coffee van in the mornings was a huge hit for my husband and I. The NYE disco was a hit with all guests of the caravan park! A great way to celebrate the new year. The ablution block we were closest to was a bit older than the other ones but it was kept very clean and tidy. We were also close to the smaller camp kitchen which had a sink and a BBQ and was perfect for our needs. The main camp kitchen had everything you might need for camping - microwave, huge fridge, multiple BBQ and sinks. The park is lovely and shady, the site we were on would have been one of few that didn't get a lot of shade when the sun was at its peak but it wasn't hard to find a shady spot across the lane if we needed! Our daughter turned 12 while we were staying here and she said it was the best birthday ever! Reception staff, grounds staff, splahs park supervisors were all lovely and pleasant to talk to. We asked our 3 kids (aged 12, 10 and 5) to rate our stay out of 10 and they all said 100/10. We will definitely be returning customers (if were lucky enough to get our...

I called them inquiring about an unpowered site for 10 people. The lady said she did not have any unpowered site until Monday , ok got it ! I then asked if they had something smaller for 6/8 people. She proceeded to say and why would you want a 6/ 8 person site now - presumably after I had just asked for a 10’person site.I said is that for today she said your asking the same question. No it was not the same question ! I initially asked for a site today for a certain number, after you said it was not available until Monday I then asked if a smaller site was available for 6/8 as initially asked for today. That is not the same question! Initially from the first question- You just said nothing available and again repeated nothing for that date either. I then had to ask if you could give me an idea when there is something available Instead of no no no..and being really unhelpful.Firstly you rudely questioned me why I had then asked for a smaller site and when I had said to you that it is not your business to question why I had gone form 8/10 to 6/8 person site you Rudely said yes it is your business and hanged up on me.. No it’s not your business. I asked about sites available. I’m pretty sure your job is to let me know what is and what isn’t available. For your information I was inquiring for friends that were also looking to join us - they are 5 but you rudely and suspiciously questioned why I asked for 8/10 to 6/8 then hanged up the phone.Very rude and extremely unprofessional , Learn some...

My partner and I booked a Motel room on the 8th and 9th of April, as Albany Holiday units had been booked out on the 9th of April so I booked 2 nights at emu beach and 2 nights there. This was the worst experience that I would not expect from a large company. Arrived there and opened the door to really see how tiny it is. so tiny, literary 4 steps from front door you would be in the bathroom or next to beside table. Not only that the fridge seal in motel 4 was broken complained to front staff in morning and they said it would be looked at while out, came back to find it still the same, went to the reception again and asked if it was looked at and was told to much stuff in fridge and they said it was struggling to run. Explained again saying it is on constantly on because air escapes try to keep the fridge cold with a reasonably full fridge with space to circulate air and they said, Site manager will look at it. Same response. Very disappointed. Important to mention, which no one told us, is that Hot water is run by a site system so if only a few areas use it the rest will suffer and receive cold water, Site Manager has a shower at 5AM in morning to avoid cold water which I was told by reception. This is very inconsiderate to not inform customers. Albany Holiday units for $9 more has double to three times more space, cooking facilities, Excellent service, lots of complimentary towels, knowledgeable staff. Avoid unless you want to save $9 and do not care...
