Marlo Ocean Views — Hotel in Gippsland

Thanks Kathy, Les, Tamara and the gumboot girls for another amazing stay in your park, we have just had a few weeks here over winter, and expected a few cold days and lots of rain, BUT the rain seldom came and when it did it was during the night, |The temps have been amazing, seldom got a windy day and the ocean was dead calm so great opportunity to catch fish which was in abundance whether from the ocean or the river|We love coming here the managers are friendly and would, and have bent over backwards to help anyone who news it|The ammenities are spotless, the sites are very big, camp kitchen is spotless and the lawns n sites are lush green I know they take pride in the mowing and probably the best kept lawns of any CP we have camped in|Winter is a great time to be here, there is sooooo much to do and see, the scenery is spectacular, there are so many trails to walk beautiful beaches and tracks absolutely stunning |I could go on and on, I think we have found our happy place and will definitely come back, |Thank you Kathy, Les and Tamara for an...

We stay here a few times a year, at Christmas its for two weeks. What we love about the Park and keep going back is it has alot of large grassy powered sites (so if you would like a large site ask for it) Camp fires are allowed all year round and the most biggest highlight we love is, it's pet friendly all year round, including christmas. So our fur baby can come with us. The waters edge for swimming, fishing etc is only 500mtrs away. The park is divide up into two parks, the front park, which is closer to the water, but the back park has the bigger sites (We stay in the back park). The staff are friendly and happy to help out as much as they can. The park is always kept neat and clean. If your feeling lazy and don't want to cook for the night the park has a great little Burger shop, or the Marlo pub with an awesome deck and view for sunsets, is only 1 klm away that you can stroll along the beach to, or take the footpath way. We were introduced to this beautiful place Marlo a couple years ago and camped at Marlo Ocean Views Caravan Park with our friends. We really enjoyed it that much that we invested in an on-site van about six months ago. The owners Les and Kathy and their family are very friendly and welcoming. The park is kept so clean and maintained. I’ll be honest it’s one of the nicest caravan parks I have stayed at that is so close to the beach with beach access right across the road . It’s only a short drive to different areas of the beach and has lovely walking tracks. Orbost is the closest town only about 10 min drive where you can access local shops. The caravan park also has its own take away kiosk offering a great variety of hot food and beverages. Don’t feel like cooking just visit the kiosk and try one of their amazing burgers.
