Boat Haven Studios — Hotel in Goolwa

Stayed here for three nights. ||There are 3 apartments for rent, 2 over the water and one set back about 5 metres from water edge. The accommodation is part of a small marina and you look out your window over the water and can almost literally touch the boats. Its a great location with views over the Goolwa arm of the Murray River. We stayed in apartment 1 which I think is the best as it is the most out over the water and is more like staying on a boat. The rooms, while small have just about everything you could want. They are clean and airy and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom, while compact was well set out and very clean. The mini fridge is really useful size for storing stuff and there is a electric BBQ on the outside balcony to use. Sitting out on the balcony with a platter and a couple of drinks was brilliant. The accommodation is located about 4 minute drive from Goolwa CBD, or 20min walk. There is a coffee shop about 3-4 walk away. Wifi is available. ||The only negative was the hot water system was touchy and took a fair bit of manipulation to get the temperature right for showers. ||Met one of the owners and he was very friendly, stopped for a chat. ||This is great accommodation...

These studios are a hidden gem in a beautiful town of Goolwa. We stayed in Studio No 2, which is located right over water in an incredibly romantic setting. With peaceful river views and lovely sunsets we had little desire to leave the studio. And there was no need to go out in the evening because everything was there, a well-equipped kitchenette and a bottle of champagne thoughtfully left for us by our kind hosts. |The room was tastefully decorated and our bed was comfortable. It was like sleeping on a luxury boat without the motion sickness. |The bathroom was spacious and modern with a great shower. |In Boat Heaven studio we felt as on a mini honeymoon. |We hope to return to this magic...

On arrival to this little treasure we're geeeted by our hosts Peter and Bek Shown through the family studio. Immaculate in cleanliness and presented in perfect style with everything needed on hand even the little extras.after unpacking with a complimentary bottle off champagne we walked down the little jetty where we were allowed invesigate Leo not going to say what Leo was but was a great addition to our stay . Having another chat with peter he told us we were welcome to use the kayaks which I would have if weather permitted and the bikes . Which we did we rode all in and around town all flat tracks I highly recommend the free use. We loved our studio well...
