Great campsite. Recently spent a week here.
First amenity block has hot showers, serviced toilets, kitchen sink, and donation box. If you don’t have cash there is an account number. Also advertised is a number for firewood which will be delivered.
Second block has cold showers and unserviced (no toilet paper) toilets.
Tap water is available at the amenity blocks and also at the drop station.
Site is well maintained. We saw the police and council go through pretty much every day.
There are permanent tenants onsite but they weren’t an issue at all.

Read moreThis is a popular lakeside campground very close to Ararat's attractions. The camping area is suitable for anyone, with toilets, coin operated updated showers, bbq's and fire pits. Most spots are level and you can stay close to the amenities or go further round for seclusion. Walk along the lake, take the kids to the playground, just relax or head into town. Read moreWhat a fantastic place to stay. The camp fee is $5 per site per night with excellent flat surfaces for caravans and a plethora of red lid bins available. This clean pristine reserve is a joy to stay at. It’s campers responsibility to leave toilets presentable for others which clearly some humans are incapable of doing.
