Pre booked 4 night stay ensuite site with 2 additional nights added on powered site. Really helpful staff, busy partly due to part park closure during upgrades, ensuite site 10, on the corner, clean and well appointed bathroom, heating via a light fitting would definitely improve it. Our only issue was the cabin parking opposite all sites, it made it difficult to reverse onto site plus we moved our car so our neighbours on 9 with a very large van could exit their site without hitting a car. We had a grassed site next, large , 8 metres square. Positioned behind the units facing the highway. Easy access to the amenities, all of which including the laundry were spotless and well maintained. Park is easy access to Hobart and surrounding attractions. There is some aircraft noise being next to the airport but it didn’t disturb our nights and there was minimal traffic noise which was surprising. We returned for another 2 nights as we traversed north to south and would highly recommend the park for convenience, cleanliness and excellent staff.

Pristine showers and toilets. I saw the lovely hardworking cleaners 4 times in a one night stay. Good little kitchen area with outside bbq facility as well. Laundry clean and well maintained. Sites were small and close together, but very well maintained. Rubbish, dump point and clotheslines clearly marked on map given to me. Service was faultless, given that I left at 11.30am, not checkout time of 10am. Reception was extremely gracious regards this. Heard 1 plane, which was amazing considering they are right next to the airport. Great idea to leave excess food in the kitchen for other travellers. WiFi was strong enough and constant enough for ne to watch movies of my choice. Petrol station right next door. Highly recommend 👌 11 out of 10

We had a trip to Hobart and stayed here. Rooms were clean and neat. In kids room there was bunk bed and it was not comfortable since it was making squeaky noise. But there was no wardrobes in kids bedroom and it as inconvenient. Linens were not changed until we vacated. It was mentioned in the poster pasted on the wall to dispose the waste in the bin and wash the dishes. Parking was just in front of the room. Netflix was available if you have account. Basketball court and jumping pillow is available in the play area. It is close to Hobart Airport. Eateries are available nearby. It is value for money.

Sadly, so far this was one of the WORST BIG 4’s accommodation wise. OUTSIDE facility wise - no complaints - but the cabins were an extreme let down I have sadly ever stayed at - unsure if there are others around but in this, I was very very disappointed (accommodation wise) and unless this BIG 4 is seriously upgraded then I will not be returning to this Big 4 anytime soon. The accommodations were beautifully laid out exterior wise and easy to find and locate and within walking distance to all amenities, presentation of the outside and the playground were immaculate but that is where the compliments need to stop. I attended this accommodation on Thursday 6th July and checked out Saturday 8 July 2023 - we had a very rushed and badly put together holiday by my NDIS Disability Support Co Ordinator - we were travelling with 2 x female support workers for myself with mobility issues and my 10-year-old Autistic son. The cabins in this park were WOEFULLY small and cramped. Barely any lounge room space for 4 people which the L Shape is badly designed and insufficient seating for all in the cabin (one had to sit at the outdated dining table on a very old and uncomfortable chair). If these cabins were to be salvaged, they would need to be internally upgraded and made for a “couple “and no kids and or a business person travelling and needing urgent accommodations. We had maybe 2 x occasions where we heard aeroplanes either departing or arriving that quite loud (noise travelling), and we were at one point worried that no one would get any sleep overnight from that noise. But thankfully we did not bar those two times (mostly because we were out during the day) so there might have been more times it was possibly heard during the day. All the cabins need to be upgraded and they need to get in some 3 and or 4-bedroom cabins. There was barely any cooking equipment to cook any type of meals, we all had to squeeze past each other enroute to toilet or bedrooms if anyone was in kitchenette (not a full kitchen) and again only a Microwave to cook in. Also. the instructions on using the electric hot plate were very poor for someone not familiar on how to use an inverter electric hot plate. I was disappointed that given the urgency of the situation for our accommodations for disability support needs that we had a last-minute accommodation change to include the extra support worker that these accommodations had to breach SECTION 11 of the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 and charged us an Extra $50.00 for the extra support worker staying with us!! The Big 4 in Launceston did not charge us extra at all – for a paid worker - we could understand if an extra bed had to be found and pulled out and installed to accommodate her but this was not the case. We gave Launceston a Glowing review compared to this one. We were handed DVD player to “install and set up ourselves “and then went to the camp Kitchen to find there were barely any type of DVDs to watch - most of it was wrestling or Boxing!!! DEFINATELY NEED A bigger AND better CHOICE OF DVDs to...

I did allow that Josh sounded like he was new when taking my reservation. He had to continually ask my details. He had to put my credit card through twice as he punched something incorrectly. This was the only place that took the full cost amount while booking in the 2 weeks of touring around and staying in van parks. This took quite some time to do, but this at the time was forgivable. I was told to call up on the day to see if I could get in earlier. When I did, Josh informed me that I did not have a booking, in which I had paid for in full the day before. After trying to explain to Josh again of the conversation that we had less than 12 hours ago, and prompting him to maybe even look up my mobile number instead. This is where he had confessed that he had put an incorrect name. This once again took some time and stress to sort out. Once arrived, he was on the phone with someone who sounds like had the same problems in which I had experienced with him. Once settled in to our overly price site, not only to stay but laundry cost. We tried to boil the power jug for tea and it tripped the safety switch. When we tried a couple of times and called out the after hours management, they mentioned that this was a regular occurrence. NICE!!! This would mean that we did not have power for the stay in which we had paid for. I did speak to Josh when handing in the keys the next morning in which he did say that he would tell management. The booking was an issue, in which was the only place in 2 weeks I had trouble with. Then having to be charged before staying for a powered site and once there they mentioned having previous issues. I would never stay with them again, and would highly recommend to go anywhere in this...

OMG! Where to start, we are seasoned travellers and have been touring Tassy for 2yrs now so have stayed in many places. None being as awesome as this. We were greeted by a very attractive gorgeous looking Tassy beauty named Emma who was so helpful with accommodating our every need. I have a bad back from a motorbike accident and need to sit while in the shower atm and off for MRI scans tomorrow. Im 6"4 and come in at 165kg so tiny showers are a nightmare for me. After mentioning this to Emma she did laps of the park to bring me a key for the disabled shower room. She is as lovely as she is beautiful. I probably could have managed in the extreemly modern and spacious super clean male bathrooms but Emma insisted that it was ok for me to use the disabled facility. My wife used the female bathrooms for showering and we both agreed hands down that this was the best bathroom facilities that we have ever come across in Tassy. We are so impressed with the caring service, awesome low prices including a three day cheaper stay that Emma offered us that we have decided to become regular visitors of this perfectly located park so close to Hobart. Couldn't be happier with this place. Thanks Emma and thanks Hobart Airport Tourist Park. J & S Walsh. Happy Campers!😎 P.S Now 3 days later we are staying for another week. OMG! Just met Steph at the front desk and she is gorgeous with beautiful eyes and so helpful & kind giving us a greatly discounted price! These Tassy girls are so down to earth/lovely & sweet. If you want to stay somewhere that makes you feel happy and looked after then I recommend the best place is Hobart Airport Tourist Park. Truly come and see for yourself. J & S Walsh. Happy...
