I recently had the absolute pleasure of celebrating my 40th birthday at the most incredible venue—a stunning house paired with a beautifully restored barn—and I cannot recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this was no ordinary location; it was pure luxury wrapped in rustic charm.

The house itself was nothing short of spectacular. Every detail had been thoughtfully designed, from the spacious, tastefully decorated rooms to the high-end amenities that made us feel like we were staying in a five-star resort. The kitchen was a dream, fully equipped and perfect for hosting, while the living spaces offered comfort and style in equal measure. Every corner of the house radiated elegance, making it the ideal retreat for our celebration.

Let’s not forget the amazing pool area with a heated pool and a gorgeous circular spa attached if your not in the pool there is a swinging day bed to enjoy and relax it was just an absolute dream!

And then there was the barn—an absolute showstopper. It was beautifully converted, retaining its rustic character while offering all the modern conveniences you’d need for a flawless event. The high ceilings, and ambient lighting created a magical atmosphere that set the perfect tone for the evening. The space was versatile, allowing us to personalize it for the celebration, yet it was already so stunning that it required very little decoration.

The hosts were outstanding, going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. From their warm welcome to their attention to detail, they truly made the experience unforgettable. And I cannot thank them enough for the lovely gift they left me for my Birthday such a special treat.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Flagstaff Estate for two nights with a group of four adults and four children, and it was an absolutely delightful experience.

One of the highlights of our stay was the excellent accommodation provided for the young children. Flagstaff Estate thoughtfully provided everything we needed, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay for our little ones. It made our trip so much easier and stress-free.

The pool was another standout feature of our stay. It provided endless fun and relaxation for both children and adults alike. We spent hours splashing around and enjoying the refreshing water, creating wonderful memories together.

The natural surroundings of Flagstaff Estate were truly breathtaking. We had the pleasure of watching wallabies hopping around in the beautiful outdoors, which was a unique and captivating sight. It added an extra touch of charm and tranquility to our stay.

I stayed at the beautiful Flagstaff Estate with a group of friends as part of a Mum’s wellness weekend away, and it was simply amazing. The stunning location will fool you into thinking you are miles away at a lovely bush retreat, yet it is only minutes away from anything you may need to access and only a short drive to the city. The house is beautifully furnished, the kitchen is more than equipped for large groups, and it comfortably fit our group of 10 adults. The pool and spa area was a lovely hang out and much fun. Although the pool was cold on this occasion, the owners have advised that they are waiting on a heating system for the pool to ensure it is swimmable all year round in the Tassie climate. Knowing this, I will definitely be back with my own family for a staycation, and can’t wait to do another mum’s only retreat with my group of friends.
