Whitsundays Retreat — Hotel in Jubilee Pocket

We booked the double room with ‘shared’ kitchen and bathroom. Both other rooms have a kitchen so the giant deck overlooking the picturesque hills was all ours! It was such bliss sitting with the birds and being surrounded by so much nature. It just soothes your soul. The location is WAY better than being right in the thick of town : trust me! I walked to town in 30mins so it’s far enough away to feel like you’re on holiday away from a loud intense vibes but close enough to access everything you need (Leonie also offers lifts when she can). Leonie is such an incredible host! She absolutely makes your stay: great local knowledge so you don’t get caught up in the tourist flow and generous with all her added bonuses like kitchen goodies, lifts + hot tub experiences!! The room itself had great air con and a fan which made our sleeps so comfy, you’re only sharing a bathroom with one other room so it felt like it was private anyway. There’s great drinking water, ammenities to make food so you’re not eating out every meal every day (that itself is worth $$) and a laundry room too! I can’t rave about our stay here enough. Where to start... We had the opportunity to travel around the world, discover lots of hotels and BnB, but our stay at Airlie Beach at Leonie is by far one of the best we have spent. If you are looking for accommodation on Airlie Beach, don't hesitate anymore.

The rooms are magnificent, comfortable and well-appointed. Everything is very modern, very clean. The common areas are great, the kitchen / breakfast area is spacious, with more equipment than necessary. The bathroom is charming, the spa and the terrace are perfect for relaxing after a long day. The general atmosphere at Whitsundays BNB Retreat is excellent : calm, relaxing, restful, surrounded by nature. The location, amenties, rooms, common areas and setting are perfect.

Bur it was Leonie who made the stay from brilliant to excellent: very welcoming, she made us feel at home. She was very attentive, always ready to help us or advise us for our outings. When we were searching for a hotel on booking.com I sorted hotels based on their review ranking and this place came top. So I booked it for 10 days with my girlfriend. Because it has super high reviews, we went there with high expectations... guess what!!! This place exceeded our high expectations.!!!.. before we arrived, Leonie(owner of the hotel) helped us finding the right activities and everything else you need to do in whitsudnays, she was always there helping you anytime you need assistance.
