Worst customer service (no email replies) Rude staff. Property clean inside. Bed sheets with stains! Look at the pics attached. Outside Veranda not clean at all! Beautiful location! We feel for the community which was highly affected from bushfires. We wanted to support the community this is why we decided to stay in the affected areas and explore nearby places and cafes which was wonderful except this place. In the below response from property I would like to tell all my Australian friends go and experience beautiful location kangaroo valley but stay away from this resort as the so Called General Manager Don’t know how to greet guest in a rude and utmost disrespectful behaviour. We are team of influencers and we respect people and their work but we never had such a experience where property is filthy. We made a phone call before coming to this property to confirm if they have kitchen where we can cook and we been assured that there is everything available in the property. When we went there, kitchen had unwashed dishes no salt and pepper. Moreover no handwash liquid. We have filmed each and everything unfortunately google doesn’t allow to upload videos otherwise we would love to show how General Manager does his Job on the property. I would like to give General Manager a message. If you have been affected by bushfires and people are coming out to support you by Booking your property for $208 per night make sure you and your staff work hard to give them that service so the people can recommend your place to others so that whole community gets help. Not like this!

Moreover we are not bogus lol we Offered them a Collaboration which Mr General Manager Never responded to May be because they knew about their poor service and we paid for our stay and the attached pics speaks for itself.

Look at the response from the property. Clearly shows their...

Beautiful location. Kangaroos, wombats, possoms and a plethora of native birds are common to see.

To access this Kangaroo Valley, the roads are particularly hazardous. Tight, blind corners. If you're from Sydney, think of the Galston Gorge, but even more hazardous. Wildlife. Poor visibility. Poor road condition with significant potholes and narrow sections barely wide enough for two vehicles. Car accidents are common, landslides are common, and so delays longer than 3 hours just to access Kangaroo Valley definitely need to be planned for.

Single beds are pushed together in bedrooms to make larger beds. For our stay, the bedsheets were overall okay, except for suspicious stains from previous guest's bedroom activities, and hairs in the fresh linen. The showers were fantastic. Excellent water pressure, heat and a generous shower head. The room came with a hair-dryer too. There was also an ironing board in the laundry. The milk in the fridge was out of date by 3 months. We were in one of the upgraded cabins.

The older cabins were in need of immediate attention. Mould on walls, a lack of natural light and seriously outdated decor. Common items you would expect at a hotel were in the form of Single sachets of dishwasher liquid/powder, laundry powder. This feels wasteful in terms of the plastic waste produced. A 3-in-1 Shampoo/conditioner/body wash was available in the bathrooms. Staff were professional, friendly and attentive in all of our...

Great Staff. World Class location and views. Restaurant food was first class. Classifying the accommodation is a bit trickier. KV is a small village with few accommodation options. KV G&CR is expensive but not outrageously. The cabins are the problem as they are privately owned and rented out to visitors through the Golf Club office. There are very basic cabins and there are very excellent cabins and there are many levels in between. The onus must be on the visitor to satisfy themeslves that what they want is what they get. My advice is to ASK QUESTIONS to determine what they want. City Slickers should NOT expect 6 star accommodation. Be realistic, and consider the cabins as more akin to a seaside village style of accommodation. I would definitely stay here again BUT I would really try to determine the level of accommodation before I arrived so as not to be dissappointed and end up putting up ridiculous web reviews,...

Our family of four adults stayed in a three-bedroom deluxe villa in late May while visiting for a family wedding. Our villa was at the top of the hill and had an amazing view of the golf course grounds and surrounding valley. We appreciated having three bedrooms, two baths, a well-stocked kitchen, and plenty of space to spread out and relax (Wifi worked great). We loved the view from the third, loft bedroom. The driveway to our villa was quite steep, but husband could handle it. It was worth it for the view! And it was fun looking out at the kangaroos congregating on the golf course at dusk each night. The retreat was in close proximity to shops in Kangaroo Valley, including Kangaroo Valley General Store (get the Evia passion fruit yogurt, some sourdough, and jam for breakfasts!) and Kangaroo Valley Adventures, which we used for kayaking on the river.

Simply speechless. I've never been at similar place like this one. My one and only problem is I booked for only one night. I'd love to come back later. Now, why the 4 stars instead of 5? 1- it's extremely dark at night. A bit scary if you ask me. 2- yes, I know it is Australia but the rates are high in my humble opinion. 3- not sure what happened but when I was taking a shower, the water was so weak and cold. Had to wait for about 5 minutes to get back to normal. 4- I fell off while carrying my bags because the villa or cabine was so dark and could not see my way. I'd highly recommend to install some lights considering those who do late check in. Now, I must say the place is so quiet and relaxing. Thanks for thoee who are managing the place. We do need more places like this one!
