The rooms are lovely spacious clean and have everything you need. Just a note that there is no signal so we couldn't get up the room entry & wifi code that was sent earlier, we had to drive back out until we recieved signal (take a screenshot on your phone when they send it through!) Also if you are there for the vineyards plan out how you're going to get around, whether booking a tour or one of you being a designated driver. There is very limited taxi service. We organised a taxi down to a restaurent in the evening as we had a few drinks in the day & the taxi said he'll definitely pick us up to go back in the evening, however several calls later no one answered so we was left with no choice but to walk home which took around a hour in complete darkness as the way isn't lit and your walking on a main road in the dark or through a trail in the dark. There is a microwave, bbq fridge etc if you're just planning on staying in or driving. Finally, yes we are aware it's self service however having someone around every now and then would have been nice, especially when any problems arise such as us not being able to enter without driving back out for signal. There was also a woman there who was having some trouble with her tv for two days and explained she's had no one to help or assist her even though the reception area says open it's not manned.
Depending on what you want out of the trip it's a nice spot but for us we would probably stay closer to the town for the...
Read moreI had the privilege of staying at the new facilities and it was lovely. We had previously stayed in the two bedroom one bathroom studio which is also lovely. ||||The room we stayed in had its own entrance and exit, which I would definitely recommend for couples. The gate for the entrance is right where you park your car so definitely very convenient for luggage. ||||The bedroom is lovely with the bed facing out into the garden. It makes for a lovely view to wake up to every morning. The bathroom has an amazing bath with a separate closing door for the toilet. Lots of space for getting ready. The bed is also incredibly comfy, one of the best sleeps I have had in a long time.||||There are a few amenities in the room which allow you to sort breakfast out. There is also a BBQ outside but we didn't get a chance to use it. The coffee machine is great! There is also wifi available which is very helpful when phone reception can be spotty. ||||The property itself is a great location yet incredibly quiet. It was lovely to have such a peaceful night sleep, yet we were only a 5 minute drive to the town to have dinner. We also did not hear anyone else on the property so it definitely feels very peaceful. ||||I would definitely recommend the room I stayed in for any couples or solos looking for a lovely place to unwind. The hosts are amazing and make sure everything is sorted before you arrive. I left feeling very refreshed and cannot thank the hosts enough for such a...
