Large, spacious accommodation to comfortably accommodate large groups of people. Situated close to the Portsea Hotel, this accommodation, although very expensive, features all the perks of living in a World War 2 bunker. Quaint touches, like the gorgeous black mould growing in the showers, will no doubt leave you short of breath. The stunning ripped/stained carpets and scuffed walls and ceilings, along with the damp and musty smells permeating throughout, provide a very ‘rustic’ chic which very much justify the high-end price tag you will be paying.
Do you like having conversations outside at 10PM at night? No? Well this luxury accommodation is for you! Despite noise restrictions permitting noise up until 11PM on Friday and Saturday nights, this accommodation ensures you will be relaxing with your company in pure silence ALL THE TIME. The friendly neighbours and owners are so intent in ensuring that you relax in silence, that they’ll even interrupt your weekend away to ensure noise levels are kept to a minimum - amazing service if you ask me!
Do you like pranks? Well the owner sure does! Our prank involved ensuring that the accommodation was cleaned to a standard high enough to ensure we got our bond back, all without a vacuum cleaner which the owner doesn’t provide! Luckily, we went and asked the tenants downstairs for a vacuum for the cleaning process, which they provided. What a funny little ha ha - you got us so good! Oh did I forget to ask if you like challenges? Well good news for you champ, the owner provides you with one (free of charge!) to make sure your weekend away is as fun-filled as possible! The challenge is to leave the house in a cleaner, tidier state than when you arrived. What’s that you say, you don’t like challenges? Well don’t worry too much, the owner makes this challenge SUPER easy for everyone - amazing!
So next time you’re in town and want to treat you and your group to a luxury weekend away,...

No empty bins , was told staff would empty the bins and no bins got changed . New bins got brought in Saturday arvo but they were already half full . Had to spend $90 to take our rubbish to the tip.
Dead Rodent smell in the back yard , could not use one side of the backyard , could not have the windows open at night from the smell being that bad .
The kitchen was covered in ants , and the fridge was leaking onto the floor which made it hard for us to use the kitchen .
The house was dirty on arrival , and stenched like white king. Check in was 4pm and they were still cleaning as we arrived .
Charged $400 for a few minor stains and linen hire .. Got told we had to bring our own pillows and doonas when it clearly says in the booking document “Doona’s and pillows provided”
Not the cleanest joint carpet was filthy

Read moreI stayed at this place 10 years ago, when i recently stayed there it was disappointing to see nothing had changed, furniture and kitchen was falling apart when trying to open cupboards. Not to mention taps on the shower were faulty and we had to get tools to turn the tap off, if you could even manage to make it in there, as there are only 2 bathrooms for the 21 beds. Between no ventilation, beds making noise and waking up itchy in the morning the rooms don't get any better. From what I hear good luck getting all of your security deposit back. And if you are organizing time away with friends and family I strongly suggest...
